Oil and natural gas will be serious bait for the Russian invasion of Israel. At some point in the future, Russia and its allies will invade Israel for their “great spoil”.

February 19, 2018: Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel announces a $15 billion deal to export natural gas to Egypt. See the link below for a video statement from the Prime Minister.

Noble Energy and Delek Drilling are the benefactors of the deal. They will be selling natural gas to Dolphinus Holdings of Egypt. The natural gas is coming from the Leviathan and Tamar natural gas fields off the coast of Israel in the Mediterranean Sea. 64 billion cubic meters of natural gas are expected to be exported over 10 years.

Egypt has the ability to liquefy the natural gas and transport around the world. Those liquefication plants are owned by Royal Dutch Shell. Egypt announced the deal to their public as a nameless partner.

Security of pipelines and distribution will be a factor. Historically, ISIS has vandalized pipelines in the region of the Sinai Desert.
