Genesis 3:20 The man called his wife’s name Eve, because she was the mother of all living.

Eve or Chavvah in the original Hebrew. Simply put, the word means life or life giver. The name Eve is mentioned only two times in the Bible. She is the first woman and the mother to us all.

Let us all give thanks to the mothers in our lives. Today is a day to celebrate mothers. Because of her, we live.
