Be Fruitful, Multiply & Fill
Genesis 1:28 And God blessed them. And God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”
This is the first commandment given to humanity. Have sex and produce children, lots of ’em! It is stated three times!

To the critic, this is the Old Testament God who you call an oppressive, insecure, prude, selfish tyrant. God is an ogre! He’s ready to crush us with His thumb! Insert atheist talking point…
And what happened, humanity has perverted in so many ways what God intended for good.
Let’s look at social issues of the 21st century. Their result is the exact opposite of what God commanded. Their result is death and disruption of procreation. The point of this is procreation/life ceases and stops with these decisions and social lifestyles.

This post is from a man who has taken women’s thoughts into consideration. My source from a woman’s perspective is primarily my wife. She is passionately pro life. She is for the protection of innocent babies and makes no apologies. This is the result of many conversations over the years.

God is the Creator and Author of life. Humanity is made in His image. God is pro life.
Interesting statistic from the CDC, From 2024. According to the Lozier Institute, .3 to 1.1% of “procedures” are to save a woman’s life. So roughly 11,000 at the most are completed with regard to “women’s health” considerations.
This discussion is about the roughly 99% of abortions that occur out of convenience. Let’s set aside the 1% that are about women’s health. That is a discussion for another day.
Of the 99% of abortions that are completed apart from women’s health considerations… what disease, illness, sickness, ailment, disorder, or malady is being treated? Is there an underlying condition, syndrome, infection, virus or affliction? What exactly is being addressed?
For those who are pro abortion, have you seen a video of the common procedure? If not, for your educational purposes, look it up and view an abortion on the internet.
What measures, if any, are taken regarding pain and discomfort of the baby in the womb? The critic claims to be compassionate in their ultimate decision.
To the critic who says God does not mention abortion in the Bible or there are not examples of abortion in the Bible.
What does one do with the verse below?
Amos 1:13 This is what the LORD says: “For three transgressions of the Ammonites, even four, I will not revoke My judgment, because they ripped open the pregnant women of Gilead in order to enlarge their territory.
This is not an isolated incident. See also 2 Kings 8:12, 2 Kings 15:16, Hosea 13:16
By the way, judgment is pronounced by God and He is saddened by the action towards pregnant women.
Romans 3:23 …for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God…
Grace…
God forgives all people and their sin. No one mistake is beyond God’s mercy, forgiveness, and grace.
James 2:10 For whoever keeps the whole law but fails in one point has become guilty of all of it.
No one sin is worse than another except by human standards.
We have all made regrettable decisions in our lives.
Don’t let any one brow beat you. We are all forgiven in Jesus Christ and His work on the cross.
1 Peter 2:24 He Himself bore our sins in His body on the tree, so that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. “By His stripes you are healed.”

Countries and societies around the globe are not having babies. Birth rates are in massive decline.
