Millennial Kingdom: Let There Be Light

Isaiah 30:26 The light of the moon will be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun will be seven times brighter, like the light of seven days, on the day the LORD binds up the fracture of His people and heals the bruise He has inflicted.

The context of these comments is a future time when the Lord is present on Earth. Day and night as we know it in February of 2016 will change. What we know as day time will be consistent with a future night time during the Millennial Kingdom. The light of the moon will be as the light of the sun.

Day time as we know it will be significantly brighter…and the light of the sun will be seven times brighter, like the light of seven days…

Increased light has to impact agricultural production significantly to the upside. Photosynthesis of plant life will be occurring at all times due to continuous light.

Prior to the return of Christ, the earth will be coming from a place of darkness…literally and figuratively. Light is progressively diminished during the Tribulation as noted in Revelation. The Tribulation is a seven year period noted with volcanic and seismic activity. Fire, brimstone, and smoke are noted in Tribulation verses. The sun is progressively blotted away and darkness will descend.

Revelation 6:12 I looked when He broke the sixth seal, and there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth made of hair, and the whole moon became like blood…

Revelation 8:12 The fourth angel sounded, and a third of the sun and a third of the moon and a third of the stars were struck, so that a third of them would be darkened and the day would not shine for a third of it, and the night in the same way.

Revelation 9:2 He opened the bottomless pit, and smoke went up out of the pit, like the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by the smoke of the pit.

Revelation 9:18 A third of mankind was killed by these three plagues, by the fire and the smoke and the brimstone which proceeded out of their mouths.

Revelation 18:9b …will weep and lament over her when they see the smoke of her burning… (in regards to mystery Babylon). Further smoke and burning are noted in Revelation 18:18.

Earthquake activity is noted in Revelation 6:12, 8:5, 11:13, and 16:18.

Darkness, figuratively and literally, will come to an end with the return of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Isaiah 60:19-20 No longer will you have the sun for light by day, nor for brightness will the moon give you light; but you will have the LORD for an everlasting light, and your God for your glory. Your sun will no longer set, nor will your moon wane; for you will have the LORD for an everlasting light, and the days of your mourning will be over.

  1. You begin with: Isaiah 30:26 The light of the moon will be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun will be seven times brighter, like the light of seven days, on the day the LORD binds up the fracture of His people and heals the bruise He has inflicted.

and you end with: Isaiah 60:19-20 No longer will you have the sun for light by day, nor for brightness will the moon give you light; but you will have the LORD for an everlasting light, and your God for your glory. Your sun will no longer set, nor will your moon wane; for you will have the LORD for an everlasting light, and the days of your mourning will be over.

According to Peter, the earth will be destroyed by fire…
II Peter 3:7 Heaven and earth as we know it, will be destroyed by fire. That would be a very bright event, much like Isaiah30:26 describes…and whatsmore, it’s the same day! The day of the LORD!

If a nuclear detenation destroyed the sun, how bright do you think it would be? 7x it’s current brightness. Just as Isaiah describes.

Peter and Isaiah are telling us the same event. Then, in chapter 60 Isaiah is telling us about Heaven that the LORD will be an everlasting light. In other words, it will never die off or dim, as we are in everlasting eternity with our Creator.

There is no sun or moon; therefore, there is time no more. The earth, sun and moon are essential to time. Need I say, time is based on sun, moon and earth rotations around each other.

Revelation 10:6,7 And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer: But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets. The prophets! Like Isaiah.

We are up against a supernatural being in Satan, who has cleverly influenced modern editions of the Bible to say “Time should be delayed” rather than the original KJV that says “time should be no more”.

You see, without a sun or a moon, there is no time, time can no longer be measured, we are entering eternity NOT the millennium. The millennium is a frame of time and no where in the Bible does it say God created a new sun and moon for a future millennium.

There is so much more to say…you open Pandora’s box when you comment: Increased light has to impact agricultural production significantly to the upside. Photosynthesis of plant life will be occurring at all times due to continuous light.

We are all in our glorified bodies and you think some of us are going to be farmers? Or do you see those mortals you talk about – perhaps they will be farmers, or worse since they are inferior to us, they’re slaves.

End Time Doctrines of the last 2 centuries are the biggest deceptions perpetrated by Satan on Christianity primarily in North America.

I hope to hear back and thanks for hearing me out, Dave

    • Thanks for taking the time to post your comments. The context of my comments are past the tribulation and into the future Millennial Kingdom. Frankly, moving forward into eternity with Isaiah 60:19-20. The same things are noted in Revelation 21 as in Isaiah 60.

I think Peter’s comments are before these events during the 7 year tribulation.
If you are interested, here is a series of the topic of the Millennial Kingdom. The post you read is one in the context of the series. Thanks for reading and stopping by. Trying to make a good faith effort…
