The focus is on the word “sorcery“. This is the Greek word φαρμακεία/pharmakeia. In English, this is where we get the word “pharmacy”. It is used 2 times in the New Testament. In both cases, many translators use the word “sorcery“.
φαρμακεία/pharmakeia can also be translated as: the use of drugs, potions, and enchantments; poisoning; the occult, witchcraft; the remedy, the cure.
One of the reasons Mystery Babylon is destroyed is because of φαρμακεία/pharmakeia.

Joel 2:31 The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and awesome Day of the LORD.
It is the season of Teshuvah and a lunar eclipse or a blood red moon is coming to Israel tonight.
This particular total lunar eclipse will last from 17:30 GMT to 18:52 GMT, making it visible across a significant portion of the globe. People in Asia, including India and China, will experience the best viewing conditions for the total eclipse. The phenomenon will also be visible on the eastern edge of Africa and in western Australia.
For observers in Israel, the eclipse timeline unfolds as follows:
6:28 p.m.: Partial eclipse begins (though the Moon rises at 6:51 p.m. in Israel)
8:30 p.m. – 9:52 p.m.: Total eclipse phase, with the Moon appearing deep red
Esther 9:20-22 Then Mordecai recorded these events, and he sent letters to all the Jews who were in all the provinces of King Ahasuerus, both near and far, obliging them to celebrate the fourteenth day of the month Adar, and the fifteenth day of the same month, annually, because on those days the Jews rid themselves of their enemies, and it was a month which was turned for them from sorrow into gladness and from mourning into a holiday; that they should make them days of feasting and rejoicing and sending portions of food to one another and gifts to the poor.
Note the three dates above. The first is 5785, which is a modern day secular, Hebrew, lunar calendar.
Purim will begin on Thursday evening at sunset, March 13, and last until Friday evening at sunset evening of March 14. This would be Adar 14 on the secular Hebrew calendar.
The verses below will serve as a framework for both Hebrew calendars discussed.
Genesis 1:14-19 And God said, “Let there be lights in the expanse of the sky to distinguish between the day and the night, and let them be signs to mark the seasons and days and years. And let them serve as lights in the expanse of the sky to shine upon the earth.” And it was so. God made two great lights: the greater light to rule the day and the lesser light to rule the night. And He made the stars as well. God set these lights in the expanse of the sky to shine upon the earth, to preside over the day and the night, and to separate the light from the darkness. And God saw that it was good. And there was evening, and there was morning, the fourth day.
Of note, there will be a lunar eclipse during Purim on the modern day secular Hebrew calendar.
Astronomers predict that a total lunar eclipse will coincide with the first day of Purim, lasting for 65 minutes. The eclipse will be visible over North and South America, rising over Australia and northeast Asia and setting over Africa and Europe.
The following interpretations are not Biblical. They are from a rabbi’s understanding of the Talmud, writings of oral traditions.
…lunar eclipses are considered a bad omen for Israel under normal circumstances. This is based on a section in the Talmud (Sukkot 29a) that specifies that lunar eclipses are a bad omen for Israel since the moon spiritually represents Israel. If the lunar eclipse takes place in the eastern side of the heavens, then it is a bad omen for all the nations in the east, and similarly, if it occurs in the western hemisphere of the sky, it is a bad sign for all the nations in the west. -Rabbi Mordechai Genuth
“This is because in the time of the Talmud, only Israel set the calendar according to the moon. Setting the calendar according to the sun was the practice of the idolaters, like Rome, which named the solar months and days after pagan gods.”

By the way, there will be a solar eclipse on March 29, the first day of Nisan.
The second is 5949, which is a solar calendar from the ancient Essenes discovered from the caves of Qumran and the Dead Sea Scrolls. The belief is the earth is 5949 years old from day four of creation. The first day to accurately mark time with this method was a Wednesday, the day the sun, moon, and stars were created. See verses above from Genesis 1.
According to the Dead Sea Scroll calendar, Purim occurred on occurred on Saturday, Adar 14, 5949 or March 1, 2025 on our western Gregorian calendar.
The Dead Sea Scroll solar calendar is more specific and consistent than the secular lunar calendar. According to the Dead Sea Scroll calendar, we are approaching a jubilee year starting in about two weeks. After this upcoming jubilee year, the calendar enters the last 50 years of the age of grace. This is prophetically significant because the 1,000 year Messianic Kingdom follows.

The last date is the Gregorian calendar year 2025. This is our modern day western solar calendar. It is primarily a math calculation. This is essentially the world’s business calendar.

So I was going to write a post about this topic of our perception of the moon and the sun from our view point on planet Earth. My wife and I were talking about the design of our solar system and the relationship of the size, distance and space from Earth to our sun and the moon. And I found this…
“Scientists tell us that the sun is 390 times larger than the moon, but it is also 390 times father away. Every eighteen months or so they align perfectly so that the moon’s shadow passes over the earth, and those in the path of that shadow see a solar eclipse. This is often described as one of the great coincidences of our solar system.
Astronomers also tell us that there are 295 moons in our solar system. And yet ours is the only moon with the exact size and distance to perfectly match the sun and produce the amazing spectacle we see somewhere on our planet every 18 months or so. If our moon was any smaller the sky would not turn dark, and if it was any larger, we would never see that brilliant corona. For many, it is a source of wonder, that the one place where these amazing eclipses occur, is the one place where there are observers to see them.
In one of his humorous harangues about “Life Below the Beltway,” Washington Post contributor, Gene Weingarten, once admitted, “I am a devout atheist but can’t explain why the moon is exactly the right size, and gets positioned so precisely between the earth and the sun, that total solar eclipses are perfect. The Hebrew word for “signs” is ‘owth. It means: sign, signal, a distinguishing mark, banner, remembrance, miraculous sign, omen, warning; token, ensign, standard, miracle, proof.
The eclipse is set to take place on April 8th, 2024 on our western Gregorian calendar. On a Hebrew calendar, the eclipse will usher in the Biblical New Year, Nisan 1. The year is 5784 per the secular Hebrew calendar. Per the Essenes’ calendar, the year is 5949 (note, we are getting close to the last Jubilee of this 1,000 years). Time, time, time…
Ancient Jewish rabbis have taught the moon represents Israel. The Hebrew calendar follows the cycle of the moon. The sun represents the gentile nations. Gentile calendars follow the cycle of the sun. In the case of solar eclipses, the nation experiencing the phenomenon is the nation under consideration.
So, is the United States in the crosshairs of a potential Divine judgment? Coincidence? Myth? Or, the Creator God?
As a reminder, this was the set up from seven years ago. This was the first of three solar eclipses to crisscross North America.
Then, there was a second solar eclipse. Granted the eclipse on October 14, 2023 was an annular solar eclipse.
The intersection of these three eclipses very much looks like the ancient Hebrew letter “aleph”. This is the first letter of the Hebrew alphabet. The meaning of “aleph” according to Hebrew scholars is: origin of the universe; leader, chief. Some suggest the “oneness of God.” It is associated with the Greek letter “Alpha” or the beginning.
Observation, the three intersection points happen to coincide with a significant earthquake fault line or subduction zone.

The solar eclipse scheduled for April 8, 2024 is the third. The first complete solar eclipse occurred on August 21st, 2017.
The intersection of these two total solar eclipses is similar to the Hebrew letter “tav”. This is the last letter of the Hebrew alphabet. The letter means: mark, sign, omen, or seal, it is the symbol of truth, perfection, and completion.
X will mark the spot in a region of southern Illinois called “Little Egypt”.
The letters represent the “Alpha and Omega”, the beginning and the end. Who does this describe? Is this a final warning?

Ancient Nineveh heeded the message from a solar eclipse and a prophet named Jonah. Their response, Nineveh repented from their evil ways. Judgment from God was spared.
Jonah 3:10 When God saw their deeds, that they turned from their wicked way, then God relented concerning the calamity which He had declared He would bring upon them. And He did not do it.
Here are some fun facts about the upcoming eclipse on April 8th, 2024.
There are seven towns named Nineveh in the United States.
Two of the seven Nineveh’s are in totality path of eclipse.
Rapture, Indiana (only town named Rapture in the US) is in totality path.
Jonah, Texas (only town named Jonah in the US) is in totality path.
As in 2017, there will be seven cities named Salem in the totality path. This time in Arkansas, Illinois, Kentucky, Ohio, and three in Texas.
The eclipse occurs 70 days before Pentecost. Israel was in bondage 70 years in Babylon. The number evokes the idea of release from exile. The 16th Hebrew letter “Ayin” meaning: eyes, salvation.
The eclipse path is 120 miles wide. Day/age theorists believe there are 120 jubilees or 6,000 years before the onset of Christ’s Millennial Kingdom.

February 2023: WHAT IS GOING ON?!?!?
I think now is a good time to talk about “Deception“. Granted, the context of this verse is false messiahs and false prophets. BUT, one of the characteristics of the time preceding the return of Jesus to the clouds and to this earth is “Deception“.
Does any one have confidence government officials will give us consistent, accurate information?
What is the reality of what is taking place? We are all looking for answers. I have no idea. But, I am watching and listening and trying to make a good faith effort to discern. I understand I can be deceived. Whatever the future holds, Jesus says what is coming will be over the top believable.

Some of the F-22 Pilots who Tracked the Aircraft that was downed over Alaska yesterday said that it “Interfered with their Sensors" and that “They could see No Propulsion Systems on the Aircraft not knowing how it could possibly be staying in the Air”.

February 11, 2023, Mayo, Yukon, Canada: In coordination with the United States, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced the downing of a UFO.
I ordered the take down of an unidentified object that violated Canadian airspace. @NORADCommand shot down the object over the Yukon. Canadian and U.S. aircraft were scrambled, and a U.S. F-22 successfully fired at the object.
February 11, 2023, Montana: NORAD identifies a radar anomaly. Air space over Montana was closed during the incident.

A few things to remember…
Every 7 years, Yah has ordained a year of release called the Shemitah (Leviticus 25). This is it! The Shemitah!
And, as it says in Deuteronomy 31, We’ll be reading the whole Torah at the Feast!
Deuteronomy 31:9-13 So Moses wrote this law and delivered it to the priests, the sons of Levi, who bore the ark of the covenant of the Lord, and to all the elders of Israel. And Moses commanded them, saying: “At the end of every seven years, at the appointed time in the year of release, at the Feast of Tabernacles, when all Israel comes to appear before YHWH your Elohim in the place which He chooses, you shall read this law before all Israel in their hearing. Gather the people together, men and women and little ones, and the stranger who is within your gates, that they may hear and that they may learn to fear YHWH your Elohim and carefully observe all the words of this law, and that their children, who have not known it, may hear and learn to fear YHWH your Elohim as long as you live in the land which you cross the Jordan to possess.”
We should gather together men, women, and children to read the Book of the Law together in its entirety! What are we to learn from reading it? That we may hear and learn to fear YHWH and obey it!

Exodus 12:1-2 Now the Lord said to Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, “This month shall be the beginning of months for you; it is to be the first month of the year to you…”
The Lord God says the New Year begins in the spring in the Hebrew month of Nisan.
Moses referred to this month as Abib. Exodus 13:4 On this day in the month of Abib, you are about to go forth. Per Strong’s Concordance, Abib means: fresh, young barley ears; month of ear-forming, of greening of crop, of growing green; month of Exodus and Passover.
The month is called Nisan in Nehemiah 2:1And it came about in the month Nisan… It means “their flight”. Israel took “their flight” out of Egypt in Nisan. The meaning of month Nisan is a reminder to Israel. Abib is a reminder to the time of the year, during the first fruits of the barley harvest.
The Jewish calendar is based on three astronomical phenomena. These three are independent of each other.
1) Rotation of the Earth about its axis (a day):
2) Revolution of the moon about the Earth (a month): The average time for the moon to revolve around the Earth is 29.5 days. A pure lunar calendar has a minimum of 354 days in a year.
3) Revolution of the Earth about the sun (a year): The Earth revolves around the sun in about 365¼ days. A pure solar calendar has 12.4 lunar months.
The Jewish calendar coordinates all three of these astronomical phenomena. It is based on moon cycles instead of sun cycles. “Leap months” are added to sync up with sun cycles. Prior to the 4th century, the calendar was determined by observation. The calendar has been calculated mathematically since 4th century. Years are numbered from creation.
A Hebrew Year always contains 12 Hebrew months in a regular year or 13 Hebrew months in a leap year.
How is a new moon or a new month determined? In this particular case, we are talking about the New Year. God operates on a lunar calendar. Jews have utilized the following procedure every month for thousands of years. It is called Rosh Chodesh which means “head of the month”. At the end of a lunar cycle, the moon is dark and is not seen for 2-3 days. So, the new moon could be identified during this 2-3 day period …of that day or hour no one knows…
By definition, a new moon is proclaimed when the first little sliver emerges from a darkened moon. It is a tiny crescent that is noted briefly at sunset on the western horizon. The month begins at the sighting of the new moon. Two witnesses have to confirm the sighting. Upon agreement, the two witnesses report to the high priest. When the new moon is confirmed, the trumpet (shofar/ram’s horn) is blown.
Determining a new month by God’s instructions is not a mathematical calculation.

If this concept was applied today, would society be different? Would people spread lie(s) about other people if they knew the consequence would be the punishment of the lie(s) they were spreading?
In the future, God will have two people bear witness to the world that humanity is sinful. With these two witnesses, He is establishing a legal declaration of evidence. If God is wrong and lying about humanity, He would bring judgment accordingly upon Himself per the law in Deuteronomy 19.
Revelation 11:3 And I will grant authority to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy for twelve hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth.
God’s two witnesses will be falsely accused and put to death.
Revelation 11:11-12 But after the three and a half days a breath of life from God entered them, and they stood up on their feet, and great fear fell on those who saw them.
