An infographic titled 'Is the Kingdom Here... or Is It Still Coming?' illustrating the Bible's four phases of God's Kingdom. It features sections on 'The Kingdom Within,' 'The Kingdom Growing,' 'The Kingdom Coming,' 'The Final Test,' and 'The Eternal Kingdom,' accompanied by relevant scripture citations and descriptions.

Many believers assume the Kingdom of God is either entirely present or entirely future. Scripture presents a richer picture.

Jesus reigns today. Yet Satan is still called “the god of this age” (2 Corinthians 4:4). Christ sits at the Father’s right hand (Psalm 110:1; Hebrews 1:3), yet wars continue, nations rage, and creation groans under the curse (Romans 8:22).

How can both be true?

The answer is that the Kingdom unfolds in stages. What Cotton Mather observed centuries ago is still worth considering today: the Kingdom is not a single moment in history but a divine program moving toward its climax in the reign of Messiah.

The Kingdom Within

The Kingdom first appears in the hearts of those who trust Christ. Jesus declared, “The kingdom of God is in your midst” (Luke 17:21). Paul wrote that believers have been transferred “into the kingdom of the Son” (Colossians 1:13).

Every conversion is a kingdom victory. Every transformed life demonstrates the authority of the King. Yet no one could honestly look at today’s world and conclude that God’s will is being done on earth as perfectly as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:10).

Something more remains ahead.

The Kingdom Growing

Jesus compared the Kingdom to a mustard seed that grows from small beginnings into something far larger (Matthew 13:31-32). Through the spread of the gospel, Christ is gathering people from every tribe, language, and nation (Revelation 5:9).

Yet this present phase exists alongside rebellion. Peter warns that the devil prowls like a roaring lion (1 Peter 5:8). John says “the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one” (1 John 5:19). The King reigns, but His enemies have not yet been publicly subdued.

As Paul explains, Christ “must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet” (1 Corinthians 15:25). The word until points forward to a future manifestation of His rule.

The Kingdom Coming

The prophets consistently describe a future earthly reign of Messiah.

Isaiah foresaw a day when the nations would stream to Jerusalem and learn God’s ways, while weapons of war would be transformed into tools of peace (Isaiah 2:2-4). Zechariah declared, “The LORD will be king over all the earth” (Zechariah 14:9). Gabriel told Mary that Jesus would receive “the throne of his father David” and reign over the house of Jacob forever (Luke 1:32-33).

David’s throne was never located in heaven.

It was in Jerusalem.

Daniel saw the same future. After the succession of Gentile empires represented by the great statue, a stone cut without human hands strikes the kingdoms of this world and becomes a mountain filling the entire earth (Daniel 2:34-35, 44-45). The stone does not gradually improve the kingdoms of men.

It crushes them.

John describes the fulfillment after Christ’s return: “They came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years” (Revelation 20:4).

The Millennium is necessary because God’s covenant promises require it. Abraham was promised a land forever (Genesis 17:8). David was promised an everlasting throne (2 Samuel 7:16). Israel was promised a future national restoration (Ezekiel 36:24-28; Amos 9:14-15). The Millennial Kingdom is where these promises become visible history.

As John Walvoord observed: “The premillennial interpretation is the only one that provides a literal fulfillment of the Old Testament promises concerning the kingdom.”

The Common Objection

Amillennialists often ask: “Why would there need to be a future earthly kingdom if Christ already won the victory at the cross?”

Because victory and implementation are not the same thing.

Christ defeated Satan at the cross (Colossians 2:15), yet Satan still deceives the nations (Revelation 12:9). Christ conquered death through His resurrection (1 Corinthians 15:54-57), yet people still die. Christ is King today, yet the kingdoms of this world have not yet become His visible kingdom (Revelation 11:15).

Others argue that Revelation 20 is symbolic. Yet the sequence remains remarkably straightforward: Christ returns in Revelation 19, Satan is bound, the saints reign, Satan is released, final judgment occurs, and then the New Heaven and New Earth appear. The burden of proof falls on those who would collapse these events into a purely symbolic present age.

Why Is Satan Released?

Perhaps the most fascinating question in prophecy concerns Satan’s release after a thousand years (Revelation 20:7-10).

Why allow one final rebellion?

Because God demonstrates forever that humanity’s deepest problem is not environment, politics, education, wealth, or government. During the Millennium, the world experiences perfect justice under the direct rule of Christ (Isaiah 11:1-9). Yet when Satan is released, countless people still choose rebellion.

As Jeremiah wrote: “The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it?” Jeremiah 17:9

The final revolt proves that the problem has always been the human heart. Even paradise cannot save a person. Only regeneration can (John 3:3).

The Kingdom Consummated

After the final rebellion comes the Great White Throne Judgment (Revelation 20:11-15). Death itself is abolished (1 Corinthians 15:26), Satan is cast into the lake of fire (Revelation 20:10), and God creates a new heaven and a new earth (Revelation 21:1).

The Kingdom reaches its eternal form. No curse. No death. No rebellion. No tears. God dwells with His people forever:

“He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain.” Revelation 21:4

The Kingdom began in hearts. It grows through the gospel. It comes in glory when Christ returns. It endures forever in the new creation.

The prayer Jesus taught His disciples has not yet been fully realized: “Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.” Matthew 6:10

But the day is coming when it will be.

This Week in Prophecy: Seeds of Inflation; Iran Drought; Ethiopian Volcano; AI Gospel Music

Revelation 6:6 And I heard what seemed to be a voice in the midst of the four living creatures, saying, “A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius, and do not harm the oil and wine!”

The four horses of the Apocalypse will ride. Hyperinflation is a condition at the onset of the seven year tribulation.

When Revelation was written by John in 94-96 AD, a denarius was a day’s wage for a working laborer. A quart of wheat would feed an individual or three quarts of barley would feed a family. Roughly a quart of grain was required to make a loaf of bread.

Likewise, luxury items like oil and wine are unharmed at this time. It would appear there is a gap between the “haves” and “have nots”.

Fast forward almost 2,000 years… Today, we are living the K Shaped Economy. This is the result of post COVID monetary policy.

The upper arm of the K (going upward): Represents sectors, industries, companies, or socioeconomic groups that recover quickly, thrive, or even accelerate post-crisis (e.g., technology giants, high-income professionals, asset owners, big corporations).

The lower arm of the K (going downward): Represents sectors, industries, small businesses, or socioeconomic groups that continue to decline, stagnate, or suffer long-term damage (e.g., hospitality, retail, travel, low-wage workers, small businesses).

A K-Shaped Economy is one where the rich and powerful get richer, certain high-tech/high-skill sectors soar, and everyone else continues to struggle—creating a stark, two-tier recovery. -Grok

~

For those new to the blog, we are of the opinion the tribulation has yet to begin. For example, there has been no red heifer sacrifice so there cannot be a 3rd Temple built. There is no 3rd Temple for the antichrist to defile. There is not a 10 member nation or ruling committee for the antichrist to subdue 3 members and take control. There are not 2 witnesses pronouncing judgment from Jerusalem.

But the stage is being set. Are we watching the seeds of Biblical prophetic hyperinflation being sewn?

The US dollar has been increasingly devalued since the link to gold was destroyed in 1971 by President Nixon. Some argue this began in the early 20th century with the creation of the Federal Reserve.

  • The US dollar has lost over 96% of its value since 1913, when the Federal Reserve took over the dollar.
  • The Fed devalues the dollar by printing more dollars without creating any value.
  • Nixon ended the gold standard in 1971, skyrocketing inflation.

War and Recession! 2 billion Dead! Bible Prophecy… Michael Douville & Paul Lehr

Posted in #PaulthePoke, Michael Douville, Prophecy, Trend Update with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , on September 24, 2024 by paulthepoke

I spoke to Charles Nenner a few days ago and we discussed his War Cycle and The Economy.

Two years ago, Paul Lehr, Charles Nenner, and I spoke privately after Christmas 2022 for 3 hours discussing what was coming and Charles’ Cycles and Biblical Prophecy. Much of what we spoke about is coming to fruition. We only released about 20 minutes of it; it is available on my channel titled “Take Heed” (see link below after Bible verses).

The discussion includes War, Inflation, A Faltering Economy. You are welcome to comment.

References for Bible verses discussed include:

Revelation 6:4 And out came another horse, bright red. Its rider was permitted to take peace from the earth, so that people should slay one another, and he was given a great sword.

Revelation 6:6 And I heard what seemed to be a voice in the midst of the four living creatures, saying, “A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius, and do not harm the oil and wine!”

Revelation 6:8 And I looked, and behold, a pale horse! And its rider’s name was Death, and Hades followed him. And they were given authority over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword and with famine and with pestilence and by wild beasts of the earth.

Revelation 9:16 Now the number of the army of the horsemen was two hundred million; I heard the number of them.

Revelation 16:12 The sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up, to prepare the way for the kings from the east.

Isaiah 49:12 Surely these shall come from afar; Look! Those from the north and the west, and these from the land of Sinim. Believed to be China.

Isaiah 24 Global geographic, tectonic upheaval

Micah 1:4 The mountains will melt under Him and the valleys will be split, like wax before the fire, like water poured down a steep place.

Matthew 24:6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. These things must happen, but the end is still to come. -Jesus

The Number 7 – Truth or Coincidence??? Kristina Weinreich

Posted in #PaulthePoke, Kristina Weinreich with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on January 17, 2023 by paulthepoke

During my scripture studies, I have been reading about the number seven (7). I find the truth and reliability of the Scriptures reinforced in a number. When you see the number and the situations that stretch across the time of the Old and New Testaments, you cannot dismiss the divine as coincidence but see it as proof of its truth.

In the Old Testament:
There were seven days of creation. The seventh day being the day of completion and rest.

In Hebrew scriptures, there are seven words in Genesis 1:1 and 14 words in Genesis 1:2.

Also in Hebrew Scriptures, there are seven paragraphs from Genesis 1:1 to Genesis 2:3, which is the verse about the seventh day.

According to Jewish tradition, the creation of Adam occurred on September 26, which is the first day of Tishri, the seventh month of the Hebrew calendar.

It is also believed that Jesus, the 2nd Adam, was born around this time, during the fall feasts. (Bethlehem & Herodium Hill)

There are seven sabbatical feasts:

  1. The Passover (Leviticus 23:5)
  2. The Feast of Unleavened Bread (Leviticus 23:6-8)
  3. The Feast of First Fruit (Leviticus 23:9-14)
  4. The Feast of Weeks (Leviticus 23:15-21)
  5. The Feast of Trumpets (Leviticus 23: 23-25)
  6. The Day of Atonement (Leviticus 23:26-32)
  7. The Feast of Tabernacles (Leviticus 23:33-34)

There are seven colors in the rainbow that God created as a covenant after the flood.

Abraham swore an oath of ownership over a well at Beersheba. The well is called “The Well of Seven”. Seven lambs were given as payment. (Genesis 21:25-34).

At Jericho, Joshua was instructed to march seven days around the walls. On the seventh day, seven priests joined the march while blowing seven trumpets (Joshua 6:1-27).

In 2 Kings 5:1-19, Naaman was instructed to wash seven times in the Jordan River for healing.

Isaiah 11:1-2 speaks of the coming of Christ and the seven spirits (traits of perfection) that will upon him:

  1. The spirit of the Lord
  2. The spirit of wisdom
  3. The spirit of understanding
  4. The spirit of counsel
  5. The spirit of might
  6. The spirit of knowledge
  7. The spirit of the fear of the Lord

King David referred to God’s word “like gold refined seven times” (Psalm 12:6).

In the New Testament:
There are seven petitions in the Lord’s Prayer (Matthew 6: 9-13).

  1. Thy kingdom come
  2. Thy will be done on earth as in heaven
  3. Give us this day our daily bread
  4. Forgive us our debts
  5. As we (let us) forgive our debtors
  6. Lead us not into temptation
  7. Deliver us from evil

In Matthew 18:21-22, we are told to forgive not seven times but seventy times seven or seventy-seven (depending translation).

Christ used seven metaphors to describe himself as the path to salvation:

  1. The Bread of Life (John 6:35)
  2. The Light of the World (John 8:12)
  3. The Door to Salvation (John 10:9)
  4. The Good Shepherd (John 10:11)
  5. The Resurrection and the Life (John 11:25-26)
  6. The Way, The Truth, The Life (John 14:6)
  7. The Vine (John 15:5)

Jesus healed seven individuals on the seventh day of the week. He made them complete on the day of completion.

  1. A man with a deformed hand (Mark 12:9-13)
  2. A man possessed by an unclean spirit (Mark 12:23-26)
  3. Peter’s mother-in-law with fever (Mark 12:29-31)
  4. A woman with an eighteen year infirmity (Luke 13:10-13)
  5. A man with dropsy (Luke 14:1-4)
  6. An invalid man by the pool of Bethesda (John 5:5-9)
  7. A man blind from birth (John 9:1-7)

Christ made seven statements from the cross:

  1. “Father forgive them, for they know not what they do.” (Luke 23:4)
  2. “Verily I say unto thee, today shalt thou be with me in paradise.” (Luke 23:43)
  3. “Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit.” (Luke 2:45)
  4. “Woman, behold thy son” and in the same statement “Behold thy mother” (John 19:26-27).
  5. “I thirst.” (John 19:28)
  6. “It is finished.” (John 19:30)
  7. “My God, my God why hast thou forsaken me.” (Matthew 27:46)

In Revelation, there are:

Seven letters to seven churches
Seven seals to be broken
Seven trumpets blown by seven angels
Seven bowls of wrath to be poured out by seven angels

While this is not a comprehensive list of the number seven in the Bible, I believe this supports my belief in the truth of the scriptures. It is truth not coincidence.

The UK is leading the G7 into a new era of finance. Rishi has announced a joint task force between the Treasury and Bank of England to look into the potential of a Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC).

It appears this tweet was published on October 14, 2021. Check out PM Sunak’s infomercial for Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDC’s).

What Is a Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC)?

Central bank digital currencies are digital tokens, similar to cryptocurrency, issued by a central bank. They are pegged to the value of that country’s fiat currency.

KEY TAKEAWAYS

  • A central bank digital currency is the digital form of a country’s fiat currency.
  • A CBDC is issued and regulated by a nation’s monetary authority or central bank.
  • CBDCs promote financial inclusion and simplify the implementation of monetary and fiscal policy.
  • As a centralized form of currency, they may not anonymize transactions as some cryptocurrencies do.
  • Many countries are exploring how CBDCs will affect their economies, existing financial networks, and stability.

Revelation 13:16-17 And he causes all, the small and the great, and the rich and the poor, and the free men and the slaves, to be given a mark on their right hand or on their forehead, and he provides that no one will be able to buy or to sell, except the one who has the mark, either the name of the beast or the number of his name.

Let me be clear. I am not suggesting Rishi Sunak is the antichrist. We do not even have a 10 nation federation on the scene. The two witnesses have not completed their ministry at the Third Temple which is yet to be built. And for the record, it is our position at PaulthePoke.com the seven year Tribulation has yet to begin. I think we are still waiting for the events in the throne room of Heaven of Revelation 4 to begin. The events descried in Revelation 13 are in the second half of the Tribulation during the reign of the antichrist.

But what is interesting… is the idea of a global currency and one world economic system which is observed in Revelation 13. The Bible tells us an economic system is coming that requires identification markings on the right hand or forehead to participate. Scripture is very clear and encompassing. “All” will have the mark or no one will be able to buy or to sell, except the one who has the mark.

CBDC’s will allow for every single economic transaction to be traceable and accounted. There is no anonymity.

This is not a conspiracy. The G7 is publicly proclaiming their intent. Central banks and governments of the world are working together to make a CBDC system happen.

Passover: The Sacrificial Lamb

Posted in #PaulthePoke, Gospel, Prophecy, Spring Feasts with tags , , , , , , , , , , on April 10, 2022 by paulthepoke

Exodus 12:5-6 Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male a year old. You may take it from the sheep or from the goats, and you shall keep it until the fourteenth day of this month, when the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill their lambs at twilight.

The lamb is without blemish or tamim in the Hebrew. The lamb is complete or sound per Strong’s Concordance.

Multiple people bear witness to the fact Jesus Christ is the Lamb of God. The first example is a quote from John the Baptist in the Book of John. The identification of Christ as the Lamb of God took place in the Jordan River at the baptism of Jesus.

John 1:29 The next day he saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!”

A day later, John the Baptist again identified Jesus as the Lamb of God.

John 1:36 and he looked at Jesus as he walked by and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God!”

While Philip was with the Ethiopian, he equated Jesus as the referenced lamb from the reading of Isaiah 53:7.

Acts 8:32 Now the passage of the Scripture that he was reading was this: “Like a sheep he was led to the slaughter and like a lamb before its shearer is silent, so he opens not his mouth.”

The Apostle Peter states the blood of Jesus is as a sinless lamb.

1 Peter 1:19 but with precious blood, as of a lamb unblemished and spotless, the blood of Christ.

In these four cases above, Jesus is referred to as an ἀμνός/amnos in the Greek. A lamb with innocence and sacrificial considerations is the idea per Strong’s Concordance.

In the book of Revelation, John refers to Jesus as a lamb or ἀρνίον/arnion. This is a small, little, or diminutive lamb. This type of person has the purest of intentions. HELPs Word Studies indicates the essence of innocence or virgin like intentions. Twenty-nine times (29) Christ is labeled as an arnion only in the book of Revelation. The context is the throne room of Heaven in the presence of the Father, Spirit, millions of witnesses including apostles, elders, believers, martyrs, creatures, and angels.

Revelation 5:12 saying with a loud voice, “Worthy is the Lamb who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessing!”

Revelation 14:1 Then I looked, and behold, on Mount Zion stood the Lamb, and with him 144,000 who had his name and his Father’s name written on their foreheads.

Revelation 17:14 They will make war on the Lamb, and the Lamb will conquer them, for he is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those with him are called and chosen and faithful.

Jesus Christ is the sacrificial Lamb of God as foreshadowed by Moses in Exodus 12.

In God’s Time… Phil Kulis

Posted in #PaulthePoke, Phil Kulis, Prophecy with tags , , , , on March 8, 2022 by paulthepoke

We read the Bible stories in a matter of minutes but they actually played out over a much longer period of time. Sure some of the events happened rather quickly but the actual unfolding of the stories took much more time.

For example Noah worked on the ark for several decades and was on the ark for about a year. We can read about it in a few minutes.

The listing of genealogies in various places seems like it takes forever to read trying to pronounce the weird names but it’s a blink of time compared to the length of the actual lives depicted. So in our impatience we usually just skip or otherwise ignore them not even considering the amount of time it represents for God to accomplish His will.

Like it was in the days of Noah, we are working in the presence of evils around us which God has pronounced judgment upon. But what are we to be working on during this time? We are to be building awareness of the coming destruction because of that judgment, while the rest of the world seems to just go about its business as usual.

Our desire for immediate gratification (a fruit of the spirit of the devil) wants the events in The Revelation to happen at the speed in which we read them. And by the way some people rearrange the sequence of the book they even want it to happen all at once.

But the actions of God happen over a much longer period of time than we’re comfortable with. His patience and endurance is much greater than ours.

The Revelation of Jesus Christ covers a period of time greater than three thousand years. Keep that timeframe in mind when you study it and realize things are not going to happen quickly nor conveniently for you or anyone else.

“I see” said the blind man, as he picked up his hammer and saw.

Now, get back to work.

This Week in Prophecy

https://valortube.com/groups/paul-lehr/

The Prophet Nahum and his tomb have been rehabilitated. Revelation’s ancient city of Smyrna or modern day Izmir, Turkey is in the news. The purpose is to remake ancient Jewish synagogues. These are real people and real places from the Bible and they remain relevant today.

Ezekiel 38-39 continue in the headlines. Turkey is throwing support to their Qaddafi family member in the upcoming Libyan presidential election scheduled for December 25th later this year.

Turkey has been war gaming with Azerbaijan and Pakistan for regional stability and peaceful purposes of course.

Are we watching the emergence of the 10 nation beast of Revelation? Is Daniel’s 4th world empire of iron and clay toes making its way to the political scene? Keep your eyes on the proposed D 10 Alliance. Military alliances are taking shape with Australia, the UK, the US, and South Korea. India and France are forging ties. G7 + 3 = 10? Watching closely…

China is furious with the alliance of Australia, the UK, and the US. Chinese financial problems are looming on the horizon with Evergrande Real Estate.

The United States has withdrawn missile defense systems from Saudi Arabia and moved resources to the Pacific theater. American withdrawal from Middle East continues. Russia is filling the vacuum.

These questions and more are discussed and answered on This Week in Prophecy.

Luke 21:11a There will be great earthquakes, and in various places famines and pestilences.

Map: Google

October 30, 2020: A 7.0 magnitude earthquake and aftershocks have struck southwest Turkey in the Aegean Sea. Izmir, Turkey appears to have taken the brunt of the damage.

As of this post, 21 people have died and over 725 have been injured. Small tsunamis were reported throughout coastal populations on the Aegean Sea.

For video and pictures of the event. Click on the link below from the Daily Mail.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8897247/Powerful-6-6-magnitude-earthquake-hits-Turkey-Greek-islands.html

This area is the home office to the seven churches in the book of Revelation.

Patmos is an island in the Aegean Sea. The word “Patmos” means: my killing. The Apostle John was sentenced to the island of “my killing”. Where are you going? My killing.

Patmos is a small island approximately 10 miles by 6 miles. It is a rocky island. Tradition has John receiving the “Revelation” in a cave on the south side of the island.

Historical Ephesus was the largest city of the seven churches.

This is the city for Paul’s letter to the Ephesians.

Ephesus was located on the Cayster River. The city was between the Maeander River to the south and the Hermus River to the north. The city was also a great seaport on the Aegean Sea. The geography allowed Ephesus to be a significant commercial destination. It was the most important port in the Aegean.

Ancient Smyrna today is Izmir, Turkey. It is located about 35 miles north of Ephesus. Smyrna was founded by the Greeks approximately 3,000 years ago. Ancient Smyrna was a port city and relied on commercial trade. The city was destroyed by an earthquake in 178 AD.

Today, Izmir is the most populous Aegean port city in Turkey. The city is predominantly Muslim. It is the third most populous city in Turkey. Izmir is home to Turkey’s second largest Jewish community of about 2,500. (Wikipedia)

Whose Mind Are You Listening To??? Rodna Epley

Posted in #PaulthePoke, Rodna Epley with tags , , , , on October 16, 2020 by paulthepoke

The definition of worry is this: when we try to find the answer for a problem in our own mind, but the answer is found only in God’s Mind, in the Mind of Christ. Answers from His Mind are only imparted to our mind by the Holy Spirit through revelation that He brings to our spirits. Answers are not analytically figured out or deciphered through the tools we have in our minds.

Our minds without His mind operating in us is only human reasoning or some type of philosophy. It might sound right or intelligent, but it falls short of the glory if there’s no revelation. When the revelation comes in, our spiritual eyes open at the same time, then the transfer of wisdom is made to the mind that we experience in our every day lives. Jesus called it understanding.

The kingdom of heaven is built on revelation. We can read the Bible all day long and never understand it until revelation comes in, until light to the eyes and mind comes in.

The Father has hidden His glory on purpose so that the diligent, His kings (male or female), will seek out this treasure that belongs to our Father but has been given to us in Christ. This treasure is only found in Christ where Jesus is seated at the right hand of the Father of glory on the throne of glory as Lord and King of glory.

So when we worry, we are not operating in the mind of Christ. Worry is constant because the answer is never found in our own minds. Some kind of answer can be found and all kinds of variations. But a lasting answer, one that completely liberates us from the problem forever is only found in Christ through revelation by a treasure of truth from His glory that enters in and takes up permanent residence in our thinking.

When perfect peace manifests and the worry is gone, we have stopped striving and looking for the solution within ourselves. The permanent solution is only found in Christ.

When we read the Word of God looking for an answer to a problem or to just spend time with Jesus, it’s okay to use our exegetical skills as we are mining for truth, because we can learn a lot of things that way about culture, words that were added and changed, alternate meanings, etc.

But even in all of our exegetical prowess that we think we might have, we still only know “Truth” when revelation from the Holy Spirit enters into our spirit and His Mind comes alive in us.

When we read we should be expecting to hear from God. We aren’t reading black and white words on a page. We are reading and expecting to hear the Living Word come into our spirits and open our blind eyes. We know this happens when we find ourselves saying, “Wow! I’ve never seen that before! Thank You Father!”

“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:6-7)

“It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows; for so He gives His beloved sleep.” (Psalm 127:2)

“I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread that I shall give is My flesh, which I shall give for the life of the world.” (John 6:51)

Worry, anxiety and fear are experienced when we “eat the bread of sorrows”. We are looking for solutions in our old minds of the old nature where the answers are never to be found. The old mind knows nothing about the Lord, that’s why Jesus put it to death on the cross.

We have to wake up in us the new mind in Christ. The glory of the Father raised Jesus from the dead and raised us too when we have placed our faith in him. Jesus is now with the Father and this is our position too in Christ, where we have His mind and we belong to Him.

Instead of eating the bread of sorrow, we eat the Bread of Life when we take communion. In Christ are the answers that bring perfect peace. When revelation comes in, the Father’s glory is being released, worry immediately leaves, and perfect peace manifests as a result.

So we let go of worry, fear, and anxiety by ceasing to find the answer within ourselves. Instead of medicating the pain in order to temporarily calm it’s incessant nagging threats, we make a willful decision to speak God’s promises that have been revealed to us which release His glory and radiate perfect peace.

“For all the promises of God in Him (in Christ) are Yes, and in Him (we say) Amen, to the glory of God through us.” (2 Corinthians 1:20)

“The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness.” (Matthew 6:22-23)

“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. (That thing making you afraid is NOT your god) I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’” (Isaiah 28:10)

“Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” (John 14:27)

“You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.” (Isaiah 26:3)

“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things.” (Matthew 6:33-34)

“Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you seems to be wise in this age, let him become a fool that he may become wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, “He catches the wise in their own craftiness”; and again, “The Lord knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are futile.” Therefore let no one boast in men. For all things are yours: whether…the world or life or death, or things present or things to come—are all yours. And you are Christ’s, and Christ is God’s.” (1 Corinthians 3:19-23)

Blessing to everyone! Be free from worry, fear, and anxiety. If you are Christ’s then those things don’t belong to you. The peace and joy that Jesus gave does belong to you. Thank You Father for Your wisdom. Thank You Father for Your favor. In Jesus mighty name Amen!
