This is a breaking and developing story.
February 6, 2023: A 7.8 earthquake has hit south central Turkey near Gaziantep. Multiple aftershocks as large as 6.7 have occurred. The main event hit at 4:30 a.m. local time while many were sleeping. The location is just north of the Syria border, due north of Damascus. The quake was felt in Syria, Israel, Cyprus, Greece, Jordan, Lebanon, Iraq, Georgia, and Armenia.
The event lasted longer than 1 minute, 36 seconds.
Casualties and injuries are likely to be catastrophic with hundreds of buildings collapsing.
Ezekiel 38:19-20 In My zeal and fiery rage I proclaim that on that day there will be a great earthquake in the land of Israel. The fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the beasts of the field, every creature that crawls upon the ground, and all mankind on the face of the earth will tremble at My presence. The mountains will be thrown down, the cliffs will collapse, and every wall will fall to the ground.
The prophet Ezekiel indicates the day is coming when there will be an earthquake so great, the mountains will cease to exist.
Brace yourself. During the End Times scenario, bigger quakes will happen.
