Damascus is the oldest continually inhabited city on the planet. Residents have occupied Damascus for over 5,000 years. The original Hebrew grammar states it is going to be taken away and removed. One could state it will be a ruined ruin or a ruined heap!

According to multiple Syrian news sources, Israel has targeted the Damascus Airport located less than 10 miles southwest of downtown Damascus. Local news sources and tweets are indicating Israel launched their munitions outside of Syrian air space. Multiple explosions are reported at the airport. Two to four strikes are possible. The events took place around midnight local time.

Damascus Now is reporting Syrian forces have launched two ground to air missiles. One missile was reported to be in the direction of the border. An Israeli drone was reportedly shot down by a Syrian missile. The link below is video released on Twitter of the drone being allegedly shot down.
