On This Week in Prophecy… Iraq is breaking down. Shia cleric Muqtada al-Sadr has announced he is stepping down from politics. The result is a violent power grab. The Green Zone is Baghdad is a war zone. The violence is spreading throughout the country. A nationwide curfew has been imposed. The United States appears to be air lifting personnel from their embassy facility within the Green Zone.
Iran and Russia continue to strengthen their economic ties. Both countries have agreed to complete financial transactions with rials and rubles. India, China, and Saudi Arabia have signaled they are willing to complete economic transactions apart from the US Dollar. Other currencies include the yuan and the rupee.
China’s Yangtze River is running dry. Drought and a heat wave is gripping China this summer. Crops do not have water to grow. Pressures continue to mount on food security around the globe. Hydroelectric plants are no longer producing energy.

Floods are devastating Pakistan. Over 1,000 are dead. 33,000,000 people have been affected. Basic provisions of food, water, and shelter have been significantly disrupted.
A regional energy emergency has been declared. Gas prices in the upper Midwest of the United States are going up. A major fire at a refinery has severely affected gas distribution in Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, and Wisconsin. The refinery accounts for 20-25% of gas to the four states.
Why do we seek the approval of others more so than we seek the approval of God? Why do we let the opinions of others affect us so much?
Do not let the opinions of others dictate who you think you should be. Just be you & do what you know is right in your heart & naturally attract those that are right for you.
Stop doing backflips for people that will only use you to benefit themselves. Be happy in God rather than miserable being who you aren’t. Avoid fools.

Well, I do not have good news. Dr. Nenner believes Inflation will be with us in the US for a very long time. How is this possible?
There are government restrictions of Resources like food and energy that will cause scarcity and scarcity causes prices to rise. The United States is experiencing policies of restriction. Scarcity Inflation!
There is now a restriction of Credit, higher interest rates and Quantitative Tightening by less purchasing of Mortgage-backed securities. When it costs more, it raises expenses and higher expenses causes higher prices.
With the US dollar heading toward all-time highs, the US is exporting our Inflation. The dollar is now stronger than the Euro. The dollar is gaining strength against currencies around the world. When the US Dollar is high, this causes Inflation, much higher prices, in countries with weaker currencies.
Utility and energy costs are exploding across Europe. Germans are paying 14X more for electricity than they were a year ago. European Businesses are closing across the European Union. Goods are being restricted affecting industrial production and construction.
What happens when, not if, when the US Dollar Cycles down. Will prices react as well? Will prices go up 20%, 30 % or more?

Revelation 6:5-6 When he opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, “Come!” And I looked, and behold, a black horse! And its rider had a pair of scales in his hand. A hallmark of the beginning of the tribulation is hyperinflation as noted in Revelation 6 which leads to global famine. Revelation 6 talks of a time when it will cost a day’s wage just to eat.
Are we there yet? No, I don’t believe the seven year tribulation has started.
We know how we get to the beginning of the tribulation: a peace maker, war, hyperinflation, starvation. We are trending and living in inflationary times…
The month of Elul initiates a 40 day period called Teshuvah. The point of the season is to prepare for the civil Jewish New Year, Rosh Hashanah. This appointed feast day is also referred to as Yom Teruah by Jews. Christians may refer to the day as the Feast of Trumpets. The season of Teshuvah concludes on Yom Kippur or the Day of Atonement.
Teshuvah is a time to turn toward God. People are called to turn away from their sin, repent, and change course. It is a time of inward reflection and sincere self-assessment. The goal is a change in lifestyle away from sin to obedience in God’s word. The 40 day period starts on Elul 1 and ends on Tishri 10, Yom Kippur.
Elul is the last month of the civic calendar in Judaism. Elul is the sixth month of God’s calendar. Jewish tradition points to the name of the month to be an acronym of “Ani l’dodi v’dodi li” a quote from Song of Songs 6:3 I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine…
In Aramaic, the vernacular of the Jewish people at the time that the month names were adopted, the word Elul means “search”. Per Strong’s Concordance, Elul means “nothingness” in the Hebrew. The month is mentioned one time in the Bible. Nehemiah 6:15 So the wall was completed on the twenty-fifth of the month Elul, in fifty-two days.
This year, 5782/2022, the start of Elul will begin at the sighting of the sliver of the new moon by two witnesses. It is estimated to be observed at sun set from possibly Saturday, August 27 to Monday, August 29.
This year, 5782/2022, the season of Teshuvah is unique and exceptional.
The end of the month of Elul marks the end of a sabbatical or shemitah year. On a western Gregorian calendar, that is Sunday, September 25 to Tuesday, September 27, 2022. Remember, the new month, and in this case the new civil year, is decreed upon the confirmation of the new moon by two witnesses. Historically, God releases debt on the last day of the last year of a seven year cycle.
Deuteronomy 15:1-2 At the end of every seven years you shall grant a remission of debts. This is the manner of remission: every creditor shall release what he has loaned to his neighbor; he shall not exact it of his neighbor and his brother, because the LORD’S remission has been proclaimed.
Historically, this is not a good omen for economic markets. If history is any indicator, fasten your seat belts. The land completes its rest on approximately Sunday, September 25 to Tuesday, September 27, 2022 pending two witnesses confirming the new moon. God is going into action and debt will be released. Keep your eyes on the markets. Planet Earth is likely to get even more interesting. Like we do not have enough to be concerned about already.

Jesus is the only door to the Father. There is no other door that gives us access. The “in and out“ that Jesus was talking about means that we go in and out of the Father’s presence, which is glory, and we find pasture to release that glory so that He fills the earth with it. The pasture is where we minister to other people in the world somewhere. We do this by releasing God’s glory through our words and works that match the Holy Spirit’s words and works. It transforms a perishing death-like condition (anything that doesn’t have perfect peace) into glory, so that it lives and does not die.
“You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;” (Psalm 23:5)
“Most assuredly, I say to you, if anyone keeps My word he shall never see death.” (John 8:51)

Remember that for sex trafficked individuals, their normal is not our normal, and stable is not always stable. Many youths, teens, and adults who are pulled out of commercial exploitation and human trafficking situations, or who enter programs and are placed in the care of loving and healing situations, do not adjust well. The reason for this is that their brains are conditioned to a state of “normal” that functions best in the traumatic situation they have just been removed from.
The longer someone was in the life (human trafficking, prostitution, addiction, etc.), the more deeply engrained this abnormal/normal reversion becomes in their brains, and the longer it will take to break through those barriers to retrain and find a healthy normal.
Changing the mindset and behavior of an individual who has endured a multitude of traumas does not happen by simply changing his or her environment. We have to understand this from the get–go. This is something that even the most loving care professionals may not understand. Often, creating a new and healthy normal for an individual exiting the life involves much counseling and work to alter his or her bases of understanding.
Building trust doesn’t always come easily. They will test you, but be consistent. Your job is to continue to walk alongside them, building trust, helping them process, assisting them as they recover a healthy normal, and allowing them to express their feelings and discover their true selves. The following tools will help you be an agent of this growth as you continue your relationship with them.

In this edition of The Watchmen… Operation Breaking Dawn was launched on August 5th against Islamic Jihad in the Gaza Strip. Islamic Jihad is an Iranian proxy. The leader of Islamic Jihad had visited Tehran within the week.
As of this post, over 600 rockets have been fired from the Gaza Strip towards Israel.
