November 27, 2020: Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, Iran’s top nuclear physicist has been killed. There are multiple, inconclusive reports as to how Fakhrizadeh met his demise. The car was destroyed by explosives and was riddled with gun fire. The incident occurred east of Tehran.
The Daily Mail claims to have intelligence indicating as many as 62 people involved in the plot including 12 assassins.

“He wanted to get martyred and his wish came true,” Fakhrizadeh’s widow.
Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei referred to Fakhrizadeh as… “the country’s prominent and distinguished nuclear and defensive scientist.”
Khamenei stated Iran’s first priority is the “definitive punishment of the perpetrators and those who ordered it.”
President Hassan Rouhani of Iran is blaming Israel for the assassination.
“We will respond to the assassination of Martyr Fakhrizadeh in a proper time. The Iranian nation is smarter than falling into the trap of the Zionists. They are thinking to create chaos.” -Iranian President Rouhani
Iran maintains their nuclear program is for peaceful purposes.
The following groups have declined comment at this time: Israel’s government, Israeli intelligence Mossad, President Trump, CIA, and EU Officials.
Of note, the United States has moved the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz and strike support back into the region after the assassination.
The United Nations is calling for restraint as tension increases across the Middle East.
