Kind words can change a person’s day & whole outlook. Point out the good you see in others. They deserve to feel special, because they are.

Be careful of what & how you speak to others. Your words have the power to encourage & build others up, or your words can leave scars that may never heal. Think before you speak. Remember what your momma use to say, if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all.

Proverbs 13:3 Those who guard their lips preserve their lives, but those that speak rashly will come to ruin.

Proverbs 12:18 The words of the reckless pierce like swords, but the tongue of the wise brings healing.

Proverbs 16:24 Gracious words are like a honeycomb, sweetness to the soul & health to the body.

Proverbs 25:11 A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in a setting of silver.

Words are powerful, but your actions are truth. Talk is only talk if you aren’t showing your words are true. Be the truth.

Be honorable in all you do. Treat others with respect & be fair always. By doing this, they will see you as trustworthy & that’s what people need to see & feel from you. That’s what you want from others as well. Treat them as you want treated.

1 John 3:18 Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed & in truth.

2 Corinthians 8:21 For we aim at what is honorable not only in the Lord’s sight but also the sight of man.

Have a truthful and honorable filled day my friends!!!

Why do we believe the words of those that hurt us, but can’t see what those that love us see in ourselves?

If you think those that are hurting you love you, you need to understand that they don’t know how to love. That’s not love or truth.  So many lack confidence in themselves because they only hear about the negative that some may see.

Focus on the good in others & build them up. Believe those that are building you up & try to see just a portion of what they see. Praise the positive you see in them. Give them confidence. Confidence is appealing.

Be confident in yourself…

Ephesians 4:29 Let no corrupt talk come out of your mouths, but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those that hear.
