Millennial Kingdom: Healthcare

Posted in Millennial Kingdom, Prophecy with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , on January 17, 2016 by paulthepoke

When Jesus roamed the Earth over 2,000 years ago, He was a healer. Jesus fulfilled prophecy. Isaiah 35:5-6a Then the eyes of the blind will be opened, and the ears of the deaf unstopped. Then the lame will leap like a deer, and the tongue of the mute will sing for joy…

Matthew 15:30 And large crowds came to Him, bringing with them those who were lame, crippled, blind, mute, and many others, and they laid them down at His feet; and He healed them.

Jesus healed the deaf in Mark 7:31-35.

A man with leprosy was cleansed in Matthew 8:1-3. Ten men with leprosy were cleansed in Luke 17:11-19.

When He comes the second time, health will be a hallmark of His kingdom. At the onset of the kingdom, residents will be healed from their illness. Jeremiah 30:17 ‘For I will restore you to health and I will heal you of your wounds,’ declares the LORD…

Ezekiel 34:16a “I will seek the lost, bring back the scattered, bind up the broken and strengthen the sick…”

History will repeat when Christ heals the deaf and blind. Isaiah 29:18 On that day the deaf will hear words of a book, and out of their gloom and darkness the eyes of the blind will see.

Of those born into the kingdom era, they will not face disease. Isaiah 33:24 And no resident will say, “I am sick”; the people who dwell there will be forgiven their iniquity.

Isaiah 65:20 No longer will there be in it an infant who lives but a few days, or an old man who does not live out his days; for the youth will die at the age of one hundred and the one who does not reach the age of one hundred will be thought accursed.

Still births and sudden infant death syndrome will be a thing of the past. The Hebrew word for “youth” is na ‘ar. It means: a boy, lad, servant, youth, or retainer (Strong’s Concordance). A young boy will be the age of 100 years.

Longevity of life will be restored as in the days prior to Noah’s flood. Prior to the flood as the oldest man, Methuselah lived to be 969 (Genesis 5:27). It was not uncommon to live 700-900 years as noted in Genesis 5.

With people living longer lives, the population of humanity will explode during the Millennial Kingdom.

Bad news for 21st century politicians, Jesus has a better health plan.

Zechariah 10:8 I will whistle for them to gather them together, for I have redeemed them; and they will be as numerous as they were before.

Trend Update: Missiles Behaving Badly, August 2014

Isaiah 54:16-17 “Behold, I Myself have created the smith who blows the fire of coals and brings out a weapon for its work; and I have created the destroyer to ruin. No weapon that is formed against you will prosper; and every tongue that accuses you in judgment you will condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their vindication is from Me,” declares the Lord.

It would appear the context of the verses above is in a time of peace when the Holy One of Israel (Jesus, the Messiah) is leading. There will come a time when the wealth of God’s people will be in great abundance. Knowledge of God’s word will flow from Jerusalem. Protection from war will be without question. Security and peace will rule the day.

The Bible says Israel will go through difficult times before peace comes. It is referred to as a time of Jacob’s trouble. Jeremiah 30:6-7 Ask now, and see if a male can give birth. Why do I see every man with his hands on his loins, as a woman in childbirth? And why have all faces turned pale? Alas! For that day is great, there is none like it; and it is the time of Jacob’s distress, but he will be saved from it.

Today (August 2014), God is still watching and protecting His people. Israel has returned to the land as promised. They will not be uprooted again. Amos 9:14-15 “Also I will restore the captivity of My people Israel, and they will rebuild the ruined cities and live in them; they will also plant vineyards and drink their wine, and make gardens and eat their fruit. I will also plant them on their land, and they will not again be rooted out from their land which I have given them,” Says the LORD your God.

Stories are emerging from both sides of the current conflict between Israel and Hamas that suggest there are other forces at work. Here are samples from both sides. It is not one side making these claims. Make what you want of it…

Isaiah 11:1 Jesus, The Branch

Posted in Isaiah, Prophecy with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , on December 29, 2013 by paulthepoke

Isaiah 11:1 Then a shoot will spring from the stem of Jesse, and a branch from his roots will bear fruit.

The “shoot” or “branch” that will bear fruit is Jesus. His story is the central theme of the Bible. The first mention of His coming and necessity of His arrival is told in the Garden of Eden. The context is the fall of mankind and the choice of sin. God is talking to Satan in Genesis 3:15 “From now on, you and the woman will be enemies, and your offspring and her offspring will be enemies. He will crush your head, and you will strike his heel.” We know this person is going be a male and He will be a human. He is the offspring of the woman.

As the narrative moves forward, we learn the Savior will come from the tribe of Judah of nation Israel. He will be a king. The scepter or sword indicates His military power. Multiple sources indicate Shiloh is a Hebrew word that has an uncertain meaning. Some take it to mean “tranquility” or “secure”. He will be obeyed. Genesis 49:10 “The scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor the ruler’s staff from between his feet, until Shiloh comes, and to him shall be the obedience of the peoples.

We further learn He will come from a little town in Israel, Bethlehem. Jesus was born in Bethlehem. He is eternal. Micah 5:2 “But as for you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, too little to be among the clans of Judah, from you One will go forth for Me to be ruler in Israel. His goings forth are from long ago, from the days of eternity.”

Jesse is David’s father. Other prophets verify He is to come from the line of David. Jeremiah 30:9 But they shall serve the LORD their God and David their king, whom I will raise up for them.

The people of Israel, the Jews will be returning to their land. We learn He will come in “the last days”. Note, “the last days” are equated with the Jews returning to the their home land of Israel. By definition, we are in “the last days” as of December 2013. They have yet to seek their king. Hosea 3:5 Afterward the sons of Israel will return and seek the LORD their God and David their king; and they will come trembling to the LORD and to His goodness in the last days.

The Apostle Luke verifies Jesus is God’s promised Savior in Acts 13:23 “From the descendants of this man, according to promise, God has brought to Israel a Savior, Jesus…

Witnesses in the throne room of Heaven, in the presence of the Trinity, verify Jesus is of the tribe of Judah and of the family tree of David. Revelation 5:5 and one of the elders said to me, “Stop weeping; behold, the Lion that is from the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has overcome so as to open the book and its seven seals.”

Jesus Himself confirms He is the One. Revelation 22:16 “I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things for the churches. I am the root and the descendant of David, the bright morning star.”
