Trend Update: UN Declares Trump “Null & Void”, December 2017

Zechariah 12:3 On that day I will make Jerusalem a heavy stone for all the peoples. All who lift it will surely hurt themselves. And all the nations of the earth will gather against it.

December 21, 2017: We are living the verse above in today’s world. The nations of the planet are throwing an absolute tantrum over Jerusalem, Israel.

The UN has stated Trump’s declaration is “null and void”.

Today the United Nations (UN) held an emergency vote over Donald Trump’s declaration of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. 128 countries voted and urged President Trump to take back the proclamation. 35 countries abstained from voting.

9 countries voted against the UN resolution and stood with Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. These countries included: Israel, United States, Guatemala, Honduras, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Palau, Togo, and Nauru.

For countries who voted accordingly, see the link below.

US Ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley had the following comment after the vote.

“The United States will remember this day in which it was singled out for attack in this assembly. We will remember it when we are called upon to once again make the world’s largest contribution. That is what the American people want us to do and it is the right thing to do. This vote will make a difference in how Americans look at the UN. And this vote will be remembered.” -Nikki Haley, US Ambassador to the UN.

President Trump weighed in on the vote.

“We’re watching those votes. Let them vote against us, we’ll save a lot. We don’t care.” -President Trump.

Even the Sanhedrin held an emergency meeting in light of the UN vote. The Sanhedrin warned the nations their vote will seal their fate. Here is the declaration.

Isaiah 11:9 In all of My sacred mount nothing evil or vile shall be done; for the land shall be filled with devotion to Hashem as water covers the sea. Israel Bible Translation

The declaration reads:

The nations should now take this opportunity to advance their required role in building God’s House in Jerusalem, the House of Universal Peace, on Mount Moriah, as prophesied in the Bible in order to bring about the long-awaited world peace.

Nations that vote for this evil decree via their representatives are instruments of destruction and their fate is sealed, as has been the case throughout history for those nations who have chosen the path of evil.

For the nations that have, until now, come against Jerusalem this vote is an opportunity to leave their evil ways. If not, they are sealing their own fate and will see judgments from heaven. The nations that support the US president’s declaration will gain merit in heaven.

We emphasize that this vote does not affect the prophecies concerning Jerusalem as the City of God since God’s word is eternal. It is Jerusalem’s fate to be a Light Unto the Nations.

Any nation that desires life will act intelligently and support the declaration of the United States.”

A little recommendation for the nations of the world… We are not there yet. But God has some guidance if you choose to go against His people in His capital Jerusalem in His nation Israel.

Zechariah 12:9 And on that day I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.

Revelation: Sardis, Seven Aspects of the Spirit

Posted in Isaiah, Prophecy, Revelation with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , on June 25, 2017 by paulthepoke

Revelation 3:1 “To the angel of the church in Sardis write: He who has the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars, says this:

The Bible is clear. The grammar and syntax in reference to the “Spirit” are singular. There is one Spirit of God with seven aspects or characteristics.

Isaiah 11:2 defines the seven aspects of the Spirit. This is the character of the Holy Spirit.

Isaiah 11:2 The Spirit of the Lord will rest on Him,
The spirit of wisdom and understanding,
The spirit of counsel and strength,
The spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord.

These are the aspects of the Spirit: 1) The Lord, 2) wisdom, 3) understanding, 4) counsel, 5) strength, 6) knowledge, and 7) fear of the Lord.

The Spirit of the Lord…The Hebrew word for Lord is YHWH. The Spirit of YHWH. Scholars refer to this as the Tetragrammaton, Greek for four letters. This is the proper name of the Hebrew God of the Bible. The correct spelling is YHWH. Note there are no vowels in this term. Vowels from the name Adonai were substituted and the term Yahweh emerged. Jehovah is a word that has been translated to English from the Hebrew, Yahweh. The name for Lord is Jehovah. It means The Existing One. This name is so sacred, Jews refuse to pronounce it. His name is a statement of existence.

Wisdom…The Hebrew word is chokmah. It means: skill (in war); wisdom (in administration); shrewdness; prudence (in religious affairs); wisdom (ethical and religious). This about the application of knowledge.

Understanding…The Hebrew word is biynah. It means: understanding, discernment; act; faculty; object; personified.

Counsel…The Hebrew word is `etsah. It means: counsel, advice, purpose, consult.

Strength…The Hebrew word is ga buwrah. It means: might; valour, bravery; mighty deeds (of God).

Knowledge…The Hebrew word is da`ath. It means: perception, skill; discernment, understanding.

Proverbs 1:7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction.

In this verse, the Hebrew word for “fear” is yir’ah. It can be translated: fear, terror, fearing, awesome or terrifying thing (object causing fear); fear (of God); respect, reverence, piety, revered. -Strong’s Concordance.

The term yara’ (noted in Proverbs 1:7 and Isaiah 8:12) is the common word for fear in the Old Testament and has a basic three-fold range of meanings: 1) “dread; terror” (Deuteronomy 1:29, Jonah 1:10), 2) “to stand in awe” (I Kings 3:28), 3) “to revere; to respect” (Leviticus 19:3). With the Lord as the object, it captures the polar opposites of shrinking back in fear and drawing close in awe and adoration (NET Bible notes).

The seven aspects or characteristics of the Spirit.

Millennial Kingdom: A Just and Truthful Leader

Posted in Isaiah, Millennial Kingdom, Prophecy with tags , , , , , , , , , , , on August 21, 2016 by paulthepoke

Isaiah 9:7 There will be no end to the increase of His government or of peace, on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and righteousness from then on and forevermore. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will accomplish this.

A focus of this verse is the eternal nature of the rule of Jesus, the Messiah. His rule will increase continually in abundance and it will never end.

There will be peace or shalom in the Hebrew. As described by Strong’s Concordance, this is the idea of peace: completeness, soundness, welfare; safety; health, prosperity; quiet, tranquility, contentment; absence of war; friendship of human relationships; with God especially in covenant relationship.

There will be an abundance of peace with unlimited growth.

Isaiah 11:5 Also righteousness will be the belt about His loins, and faithfulness the belt about His waist.

This would be an example where our translators have opted for political correctness. The Hebrew word for loins and waist can also be translated as testicles. This Leader owns “a pair” and He will demonstrate it when it comes to doing things the right way.

The belt is equated with righteousness and truth. This is the case in Ephesians 6:14 Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth… and having put on the breastplate of righteousness…The Apostle Paul is quoting Isaiah 11:5 and 59:17.

Jeremiah 23:5 “Behold, the days are coming,” declares the LORD, “When I will raise up for David a righteous Branch; and He will reign as king and act wisely and do justice and righteousness in the land.

Jesus will not be flying around and holding pep rallies. He is not going to give speeches on policy and hollow promises. The Messiah will be a man of action.

…act wisely…He will be the agent of change and cause. He will have insight. He will be prudent. He will be a wise teacher. Success and prosperity will be the result.

…do justice…Jesus will act as a judge. He will decide cases and execute judgment with perfection against the laws. See Exodus, Numbers, Leviticus, and Deuteronomy. It will be absolutely fair.

…do righteousness…The Lord will do what is morally and ethically right. This is the same word that describes the leader from the line of David, a righteous Branch. Truth will be on display.

Isaiah 42:1-2 “Behold, My Servant, whom I uphold; My chosen one in whom My soul delights. I have put My Spirit upon Him; He will bring forth justice to the nations. He will not cry out or raise His voice, nor make His voice heard in the street.”

Jesus is not going to scream and yell at us like politicians (plural) of the 2016 American Elections. He will not be seeking attention to Himself. Look at me! Look at me! Talk, talk, talk, talk, talk, talk…

He will take care of business and just simply do it.

1 John 3:18 Little children, let us not love with word or with tongue, but in deed and truth.

Trend Update: Immigration to Israel/Aliyah, May 2016

Isaiah 11:11-12 In that day the Lord will extend his hand yet a second time to recover the remnant that remains of his people, from Assyria, from Egypt, from Pathros, from Cush, from Elam, from Shinar, from Hamath, and from the coastlands of the sea. He will raise a signal for the nations and will assemble the banished of Israel, and gather the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.

Ezekiel 20:34 I will bring you out from the peoples and gather you out of the countries where you are scattered, with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm, and with wrath poured out.

Israel is about to celebrate its 68th birthday. The Central Bureau of Statistics announced Israel has 8.522 million citizens. This is 10 times more than in 1948, the rebirth of the nation. Approximately 75% of the population is Jewish.

In 2014 there were 14.3 million Jews in the world. Forty three percent were estimated to live Israel.

In 1948, Tel Aviv was the only city with over 100,000 people. Today in May of 2016, there are 14 cities over 100,000.

Last year, 36,000 moved to Israel, Aliyah. This is the voluntary immigration back to the land of Israel from the diaspora. Simply stated, Aliyah means ascent.

For more details, see the link below from the Jerusalem Post.

Millennial Kingdom: Animal Harmony

Posted in Millennial Kingdom, Prophecy with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , on January 31, 2016 by paulthepoke

Genesis 9:2 The fear of you and the terror of you will be on every beast of the earth and on every bird of the sky; with everything that creeps on the ground, and all the fish of the sea, into your hand they are given.

animals

When Noah and his family were free of the flood and out of the ark, God made the promise stated above. Animals were instilled with a sense of “fear” and “terror” of humanity. Animals are now meals.

The Hebrew word for “fear” is mowra’. It means: fear, reverence, or terror.

The Hebrew word for “terror” is chath. It means: fear, terror, shattered, or dismayed. (Strong’s Concordance).

Humanity was told they could eat whatever animal they wanted, just make sure there is no blood in the animal that is being consumed. Genesis 9:3-4 Every moving thing that is alive shall be food for you; I give all to you, as I gave the green plant. Only you shall not eat flesh with its life, that is, its blood.

What happens when an animal is backed into a corner? It will defend, attack, and bite. The animal will also flee and retreat.

As a result, animals have hostility towards each other. The height of animal fear and terror will occur during the Tribulation. Animals turn on humanity. The fourth ashen or pale green horse of the Apocalypse confirms in Revelation 6:8 I looked, and behold, an ashen horse; and he who sat on it had the name Death; and Hades was following with him. Authority was given to them over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword and with famine and with pestilence and by the wild beasts of the earth.

In the Millennial reign of Christ, all of this changes. A new covenant is coming between zoology and humanity. Hosea 2:18 “In that day I will also make a covenant for them with the beasts of the field, the birds of the sky and the creeping things of the ground. And I will abolish the bow, the sword and war from the land, and will make them lie down in safety…”

The result will be harmony in the animal kingdom. The hostility between animals ends. Animals stop eating and attacking each other. For examples, lions, bears, and wolves will become herbivores. Isaiah 11:6a, 7 And the wolf will dwell with the lamb, and the leopard will lie down with the young goat, and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together…The cow will feed with the bear, their young will lie down together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox.

Isaiah 65:25a The wolf and the lamb will graze together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox…

The hostility between humanity and animals ends. Would you let your child play near snakes? One of these days, it will be okay. Isaiah 11:8 The nursing child will play by the hole of the cobra, and the weaned child will put his hand on the viper’s den.

Drought: The Red Sea, The Nile and Euphrates Rivers

Posted in Euphrates River, Isaiah, Prophecy with tags , , , , , , , , , , on June 1, 2014 by paulthepoke

Isaiah 11:15 And the LORD will utterly destroy the tongue of the Sea of Egypt; and He will wave His hand over the River with His scorching wind; and He will strike it into seven streams and make men walk over dry-shod.

The Sea of Egypt is what we know today as the Red Sea. There are two tongues of the Red Sea. The northeast tongue is the Gulf of Aqaba. Israel, Jordan, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia share the tongue and have ports here.

The northwest tongue is the Gulf of Suez. This gulf solely belongs to Egypt. At the end of the gulf is the Suez Canal. The Suez Canal connects the Red Sea and the Mediterranean Sea. It is the fastest path from the Indian Ocean to the Atlantic Ocean. The canal’s history dates back to 1,874 BC. It has a depth of 66 feet. Without the canal, freight would have to go around the southern tip of Africa. 8% of the world’s cargo went through the Suez Canal in 2009 (Information provided by Suez Canal Authority).

There is some debate about the river in this verse. Some interpret this to be the Euphrates River. Some take it to be the Nile River. Take your pick. The Bible says both of these rivers are going dry during the Tribulation.

Revelation 16:12 The sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river, the Euphrates; and its water was dried up, so that the way would be prepared for the kings from the east.

Isaiah 19:5-7 The waters from the sea will dry up, and the river will be parched and dry. The canals will emit a stench, the streams of Egypt will thin out and dry up; the reeds and rushes will rot away. The bulrushes by the Nile, by the edge of the Nile and all the sown fields by the Nile will become dry, be driven away, and be no more.

The context of this verse is the Sea of Egypt. The Nile River delta branches into seven smaller tributaries before it empties in the Mediterranean Sea. I would lean towards this verse being about the Nile River going dry.

The grammar in Hebrew is direct. God will cause this to happen. There will be no doubt. It will be so dry, people will be able to walk across the River on dry land. His method will be a hot scorching wind. Keep in mind, the level of the Nile River is currently dropping due to weather and a dam being built on the Nile in the center of Africa.

Imagine what will happen to the price of oil when the Suez Canal goes dry. Combine that with all the money governments around the world are printing. Can you say massive inflation!

Rebuilding Nation Israel

Posted in Isaiah, Prophecy with tags , , , , , , on April 13, 2014 by paulthepoke

Isaiah 11:10-12 Then in that day the nations will resort to the root of Jesse, Who will stand as a signal for the peoples; and His resting place will be glorious. Then it will happen on that day that the Lord will again recover the second time with His hand the remnant of His people, who will remain, from Assyria, Egypt, Pathros, Cush, Elam, Shinar, Hamath, and from the islands of the sea. And He will lift up a standard for the nations and assemble the banished ones of Israel, and will gather the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.

Here is a peak into the future. The reference to nations is those who are not Israel. The peoples of the world will enquire and seek in care towards a person who is a direct descendant of Jesse. David is the son of Jesse. Revelation 5:5 and one of the elders said to me, “Stop weeping; behold, the Lion that is from the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has overcome so as to open the book and its seven seals.”  Jesus is the person who has this lineage. Jesus will be lifted up as a standard or banner according to the Hebrew grammar. In Him, people will find security, peace, and quiet.

The text goes on to state, the people of Israel will be recovered. The word for “recover” is the Hebrew word qanah. Per Strong’s Concordance, it means to get, acquire, create, buy, or possess. The Root will buy or possess Israel. As believers in Jesus, Christ has redeemed us with His blood on the cross. I Corinthians 7:22-23 For he who was called in the Lord while a slave, is the Lord’s freedman; likewise he who was called while free, is Christ’s slave. You were bought with a price; do not become slaves of men.

The Lord will retrieve His Jewish people to their land a second time. Some would argue this process has begun and is taking place today, April 2014. Jewish people from around the world are returning to their home land of Israel. The believing remnant will come from Assyria (modern day Syria and northern Iraq), Egypt, Pathros (modern day southern or Upper Egypt), Cush (modern day Ethiopia), Elam (modern day southwest Iran), Shinar (modern day Iraq), and Hamath (modern day upper Syria). Modern day country information provided by New Unger’s Bible Dictionary.

Nation Israel will be reassembled from Jews throughout the world. Israel will be the standard to the world with Jesus as its leader.

Isaiah 11:9-10 Universal Knowledge of God

Posted in Gospel, Isaiah, Prophecy with tags , , , , on March 9, 2014 by paulthepoke

Isaiah 11:9 They will not hurt or destroy in all My holy mountain, for the earth will be full of the knowledge of the LORD as the waters cover the sea.

The holy mountain is Jerusalem. It sits on a hill. Thus the phrase, “Let’s go up to Jerusalem”. Is there peace in Jerusalem today March 2014? Right…

“Hurt” in the Hebrew is ra`a`. It can also be translated: to do an injury or hurt, to do evil or wickedly, mischief.

“Destroy” in the Hebrew is shachath. It can be translated: to spoil, ruin, destroy, to pervert, or corrupt (morally). Definitions provided by Strong’s Concordance.

God is promising. Jerusalem will not be injured, spoiled, ruined, destroyed, perverted, or corrupted. Evil or mischief will fall upon the city. A king will be in place who will prevent these things from happening.

Peace in the animal kingdom is equated with peace in Jerusalem.Isaiah 11:8-9 parallels Isaiah 65:25 with this concept.

Isaiah 65:25 “The wolf and the lamb will graze together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox; and dust will be the serpent’s food. They will do no evil or harm in all My holy mountain,” says the LORD.

Is the Earth full of Biblical knowledge today in March 2014? This verse says Biblical knowledge will be worldwide. The assumption is a worldly kingdom. It is going to happen just as the waters cover the sea.

Isaiah 11:10 Then in that day the nations will resort to the root of Jesse, Who will stand as a signal for the peoples; and His resting place will be glorious.

The Hebrew grammar indicates it is the Gentile nations who will seek and enquire towards the root. The root of the line of Jesse is Jesus. The Apostle Paul confirms this root is Jesus in Romans 15.

The idea of a “signal” is consistent with a banner, ensign, or sign that is raised up on a pole. Granted, the language in this verse is figurative. Jesus was literally raised up on a cross. In Him, there will be security and peace.

Isaiah 11:8 Animal Peace Treaty? Yes…

Posted in Isaiah, Prophecy with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , on March 2, 2014 by paulthepoke

Isaiah 11:8 And the wolf will dwell with the lamb, and the leopard will lie down with the young goat, and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little boy will lead them. Also the cow and the bear will graze, their young will lie down together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox. The nursing child will play by the hole of the cobra, and the weaned child will put his hand on the viper’s den.

Previously, the relationship between animals was discussed in the verse. In a nutshell, there will be harmony among and between the animals in the future. The relationship of predator and prey will be removed. What about the relationship between animals and humanity? There are multiple verses that speak to this relationship as well.

Prior to the flood, animals and humanity had a peaceful coexistence. But after Noah’s global flood, things changed. God informs Noah and the survivors of the flood they can now eat meat. From this point forward, animals are a food source. Hostility between humanity and zoology had been initiated. Genesis 9:2 “The fear of you and the terror of you will be on every beast of the earth and on every bird of the sky; with everything that creeps on the ground, and all the fish of the sea, into your hand they are given.

The Bible says there will come a time when humanity and animal angst will end. A harmonious relationship with zoology will be restored as originally intended. PETA will rejoice! This concept of peace with animals is noted in multiple places. God makes a peace treaty or covenant with the animals.

Hosea 2:18 “In that day I will also make a covenant for them with the beasts of the field, the birds of the sky and the creeping things of the ground. And I will abolish the bow, the sword and war from the land, and will make them lie down in safety…”

Job 5:22-23 “You will laugh at violence and famine, and you will not be afraid of wild beasts. For you will be in league with the stones of the field, and the beasts of the field will be at peace with you…”

Ezekiel 34:25 “I will make a covenant of peace with them and eliminate harmful beasts from the land so that they may live securely in the wilderness and sleep in the woods…”

Dr. Dolittle, the Dog Whisperer on the Animal Planet, or the cat psychologist from “My Cat from Hell” have nothing on God. Some of these folks in today’s world (March 2014) will be looking for a new job once this covenant is enforced. There will no longer be a “cat from hell”. Animal therapists will not be necessary.

Isaiah 11:6-8 The Earth is Cursed, Still

Posted in Isaiah, Prophecy with tags , , , , , , , , , , , , , on February 23, 2014 by paulthepoke

Isaiah 11:6-8 And the wolf will dwell with the lamb, and the leopard will lie down with the young goat, and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little boy will lead them. Also the cow and the bear will graze, their young will lie down together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox. The nursing child will play by the hole of the cobra, and the weaned child will put his hand on the viper’s den.

The earth in its current status (February 2014) is still cursed. The curse finds its origin in the sin of Adam.

Genesis 3:17 Then to Adam He said, “Because you have listened to the voice of your wife, and have eaten from the tree about which I commanded you, saying, ‘You shall not eat from it’; cursed is the ground because of you; In toil you will eat of it all the days of your life.

God wasted no time with the curse on the ground. The environment changed quickly. Finding food was clearly becoming an issue relative to the perfectly created Earth. From Adam to Noah in nine generations, the cursed ground was taking its toll. Man was having to work harder in order to eat. Genesis 5:29 Now he called his name Noah, saying, “This one will give us rest from our work and from the toil of our hands arising from the ground which the LORD has cursed.”

It is true, Noah (meaning rest or comfort) did provide humanity relief. If it were not for him building an ark, we would not be here. Conditions on Earth continued to become more difficult for growing food after the flood. Lot chose the lush and fertile Jordan valley near Sodom and Gomorrah in Genesis 13. This area is described as similar to the Garden of the Lord in Genesis 13:10 prior to its destruction. Today we know this area around the Dead Sea to be a barren, desert wasteland.

Romans 8:20-22 For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself also will be set free from its slavery to corruption into the freedom of the glory of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groans and suffers the pains of childbirth together until now. Today, the creation continues to groan. We are still dealing with the effect of Adam’s choice. Prophecy tells us the growing conditions will get worse before it gets better. For now, we hold to the words of the Apostle Peter. 2 Peter 3:13 But according to His promise we are looking for new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness dwells.

God Himself comments in Isaiah 65:17 “For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; and the former things will not be remembered or come to mind. This concept is noted in the Old and New Testaments. Revelation 21:5 And He who sits on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” And He said, “Write, for these words are faithful and true.”

This earthly curse will be reversed.
