But now they have been hidden from your eyes. For the days will come upon you when your enemies will throw up a barricade against you, and surround you and hem you in on every side, and they will level you to the ground and your children within you, and they will not leave in you one stone upon another, because you did not recognize the time of your visitation.”

Luke 21:5-6 And while some were talking about the temple, that it was adorned with beautiful stones and votive gifts, He said, “As for these things which you are looking at, the days will come in which there will not be left one stone upon another which will not be torn down.”

In 70 AD the Romans completely burned and destroyed the entire city of Jerusalem and the Temple. There was nothing left to indicate a city had been there. The Jews who were not killed in battle were forced to take every building down to the foundation and dig, looking for hidden and even melted silver and gold. The Romans completely leveled the Temple and the city, just as Jesus said would happen.

The Temple was burned and destroyed looking for hidden and melted silver and gold. The city was burned and destroyed looking for hidden and melted silver and gold. Then why was the platform that is called the Temple Mount not taken apart in search of hidden and melted silver and gold?

There are at least 10,000 stones of the platform that are still on top of one another. If that structure was the Temple Mount, don’t you think the Romans would have taken it apart looking for hidden treasure? I mean after all, the Temple supposedly stood on top of the platform. There would be lots of places to hide treasure.

Follow the money. That platform was the Roman Fort Antonia. The Romans knew there was no hidden Jewish treasure there! That is why that platform was not destroyed!

To say that platform is the correct Temple Mount is to say that Jesus was wrong in His prophecy. For the Jews to rebuild the Temple, they will have to admit Jesus was right.
