Red Heifer Update: And There Were Two, June 2020/Tammuz 5780

The Temple Institute has not one but two red heifer candidates. Before the third Temple will be built, a red heifer must be burned for purification. The third Temple is prophetic as promised by the prophets and Jesus Himself. We are getting closer, a sign of the times…

For articles dating back to 2014… https://paulthepoke.com/?s=red+heifer

The following is from the Temple Institute YouTube Channel.

“HaShem spoke to Moshe and Aharon, saying: This is the statute of the Torah which HaShem commanded, saying, Speak to the children of Israel and have them take for you a perfectly red unblemished cow, upon which no yoke was laid.”

Commentary below is from The Temple Institute.

Thus we are taught in Numbers 19 the laws of the red heifer, whose ashes when prepared properly by Temple priests can achieve for Israel the highest level of biblical purity attainable.

Equipped with the ashes of the red heifer the entire nation of Israel, men, women and children will be able to participate in the three pilgrimage festivals, and enter into the inner courtyards of the Holy Temple, fulfilling the Torah commandment to see and be seen by G-d three times a year, as we read in…

Deuteronomy 16:16: “Three times in the year, every one of your males shall appear before HaShem, your G-d, in the place He will choose: on the Festival of Matzot and on the Festival of Weeks, and on the Festival of Sukkot, and he shall not appear before the HaShem empty-handed.”

Five years ago the Temple Institute began its Raise a Red Heifer in Israel project. Just under two years ago we announced the birth of our first red heifer candidates, two perfectly red heifers, eligible for the historic role of being THE red heifer who returns to Israel, after 2000 years, the ability to achieve the highest level of Torah purity.

Since their birth, the rabbinic experts of the Temple Institute have been keeping a close watch on these heifers, for any non-red hair that a heifer sprouts, or any minor injury that the heifer sustains will disqualify it from being a kosher red heifer.

This past week, (June, 2020), we visited our two most advanced red heifers and filmed them. In the upcoming weeks they will receive another visit from the Temple Institute’s experts for yet another close inspection. Should either or both of these red heifers remain eligible candidates, we will soon be ready to advance toward the stage of actually preparing the ashes.

From the footage we are looking at our two heifers seem perfectly red, but clearly they need to be cleaned up and properly inspected to truly determine their status.

How wonderful to imagine that these two innocent, unsuspecting creatures, could, in the very near future, advance Israel and the world to the next stage of the redemption and the building of the Holy Temple.

Red Heifer Update: Baja, Mexico, February 2017

Posted in Prophecy, Sanhedrin, Temple, Trend Update with tags , , , , on February 7, 2017 by paulthepoke

Numbers 19:1-2 Then the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying, “This is the statute of the law which the Lord has commanded, saying, ‘Speak to the sons of Israel that they bring you an unblemished red heifer in which is no defect and on which a yoke has never been placed.

Later in January of 2017, Rabbi Benny Hershcovich was on a milk run. The rabbi lives in a remote place in Baja, Mexico. Upon arrival to the farm, he observed a key piece to the construction of the third Temple in Jerusalem, a red heifer.

“I’ve grown up with the stories, so I know how rare and valuable the red heifer is,” Rabbi Benny Hershcovich.

The farmer who owned the heifer was not familiar with Jewish law and the significance of the red heifer. The heifer was “just another cow” as far as he was concerned.

For complete details of the rabbi’s thoughts, pictures, and encounters, check out the Facebook link below. https://www.facebook.com/benny.hershcovich.1/posts/10158203521080554

The ashes from the sacrifice of the red heifer are necessary for purification prior to the building of the Temple.

Let’s look at the qualifications of the red heifer per the Bible in Numbers 19:1-2.

Interpretation of verses provided by the Temple Institute. This is the criteria used for the identification of the red heifer.

…and take a heifer… Since the verse instructs us to take a heifer, we do not purchase a calf and wait for it to grow older while in our custody; “and take a heifer” means that the act of acquisition has to take place while the animal is a heifer. However, if a red calf is available, a price can be set with its owner, and the transaction can be concluded, but we do not take possession until it reaches the proper age as mandated by the Bible.

A heifer by definition is a female cow.

…an unblemished red heifer in which is no defect…This means that the presence of as few as two hairs of any other color will render it invalid. Even its hooves must be red. It must also be totally free from any physical blemish or defect, whether internal or external. A list of blemishes that would disqualify the animal for sacrifice are noted in Leviticus 22.

…on which a yoke has never been placed. The red heifer must have never been used to perform any physical labor. This would include riding, or even leaning on her. But if a yoke were placed upon her even once, even if she were not used to plow – this would be enough to render the heifer unfit for use.

Three to four years of age is an oral tradition that has been passed down through the generations.

You can bet someone from Jerusalem from either the Sanhedrin or the Temple Institute has made the trip to Mexico…

Trend Update: Temple Red Heifer, August 2015

The Temple Institute is committed to raising a red heifer. Not just one, but raise a herd of red heifers. I guess it is time to throw numbers at the issue instead of waiting for one to be born and finding it. The Temple Institute has joined forces with a cattle rancher in Israel. They are going to apply the best of breeding techniques, genetics, and embryology. They are pursuing a red heifer.

The Temple Institute will keep with Halachic Law (laws in accordance with Biblical Scripture). Where the Muslims have Sharia Law, the Jews have Halachic Law.
