Trend Update: God/Israel & ISIS Exchange Fire in Golan Heights, December 2016

Joshua 21:27 To the sons of Gershon, one of the families of the Levites, from the half-tribe of Manasseh, they gave Golan in Bashan, the city of refuge for the manslayer, with its pasture lands, and Be-eshterah with its pasture lands; two cities.

Israel has been managing conflict with this region for close to 3,500 years.

November 27, 2016: At this time, ISIS has entered the picture. For the first time, ISIS and the Israeli Defense Forces have exchanged fire. The events took place in the southern Golan Heights.

The Israeli Air Force identified an armored vehicle with a large machine gun. The Air Force was able to identify four occupants in the vehicle. The target was destroyed. The ISIS vehicle was reportedly several hundred meters from the border. Israeli forces suffered no injuries or deaths. Multiple ISIS fighters were killed in the exchange.

November 30, 2016: An Israeli Air Force jet hits a target near Damascus. The operation took place during the night time. Explosions could be heard in downtown Damascus. Speculation is a munition convoy was struck near Damascus. See the news link below out of Damascus, Syria.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has made it clear. ISIS will not be allowed to open a front of terror in the Golan Heights. The Israeli government or the Israeli press have made no official comment on the strike near Damascus.

December 1, 2016: The United Nations (UN) has passed six resolutions regarding Israel, the city of Jerusalem, Palestine, and the Golan Heights. The UN referred to the region as “Syrian Golan”. The UN believes the Golan Heights region should be handed over to Syria and the Assad regime. Language of the resolution stated, “Israel withdraw from all the occupied territory to the line of June 4, 1967 and called on all parties concerned to exert the necessary efforts to ensure the resumption of the peace process.”

After these events… A video from the Golan Heights is emerging from Israeli Defense Forces. Multiple soldiers captured the phenomenon.

Exodus 13:21 And the LORD went before them by day in a pillar of cloud to lead them along the way, and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, that they might travel by day and by night.

December 4, 2016: Multiple Israeli soldiers captured a “pillar of cloud” on the Israel/Syria border. The cloud is reported to move from east to west and stop on the border. The cloud proceeded to hover and do damage on the Syrian side of the border. Fire and brimstone were not indicated at this time. This weather event took place in the same location as the ISIS attack.

“This strange storm of what appears to be dust, cloud and rain did NOT cross the border fence into Israel. It sat like a barrier between ISIS and Israel,” Israeli Defense.

The cloud is consistent with a menacing wall cloud of a super cell thunderstorm as observed in the Midwest or Tornado Alley in the United States. This is not a weather event consistent with the Golan Heights region.

The pillar of cloud and fire were reminders to the nation of Israel. God is with you and God will protect you. He does not break His promises. His character does not change.

Feast of Tabernacles/Sukkot: Light

Posted in Fall Feasts, Prophecy with tags , , , , , , , , , , , on October 9, 2016 by paulthepoke

Leviticus 23:33-36 Again the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, “Speak to the sons of Israel, saying, ‘On the fifteenth of this seventh month is the Feast of Booths for seven days to the LORD. On the first day is a holy convocation; you shall do no laborious work of any kind. For seven days you shall present an offering by fire to the LORD. On the eighth day you shall have a holy convocation and present an offering by fire to the LORD; it is an assembly. You shall do no laborious work.’”

Light is a theme of The Feast of Tabernacles.

Exodus 13:20 Then they set out from Succoth and camped in Etham on the edge of the wilderness.

Succoth is the first place the nation of Israel stopped after the Exodus from Egypt. Succoth is believed to be on the east of Goshen or the western edge of the Sinai Peninsula. The name of this town is the same name for the God Appointed Holiday, Succoth. In the Hebrew, the word means: a booth, tent, or shelters. The nation of Israel led by Moses left their shelter in Egypt.

Exodus 13:21 The LORD was going before them in a pillar of cloud by day to lead them on the way, and in a pillar of fire by night to give them light, that they might travel by day and by night.

Notice. Israel was led by a pillar of fire, light, at night. The light was always there and never left the Hebrew people (Exodus 13:22). Israel was guided by the presence of God, the light.

Israel camped with God.

Numbers 9:15 Now on the day that the tabernacle was erected the cloud covered the tabernacle, the tent of the testimony, and in the evening it was like the appearance of fire over the tabernacle, until morning.

Israel’s place of worship in the desert wandering was the Tabernacle or Tent of Meeting. Fire or light covered their holy place. Numbers 9:16 So it was continuously; the cloud would cover it by day, and the appearance of fire by night.

Roughly 1,500 years after Moses, a Man would claim to be the light of the world.

John 8:12 Then Jesus again spoke to them, saying, “I am the Light of the world; he who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life.”

The ultimate fulfillment of this God Appointed holiday is in the eternal future in the New Jerusalem. The Father and the Son are the substance. They are the light and tabernacle dwelling with humanity.

Revelation 21:22-23 I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God the Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. And the city has no need of the sun or of the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God has illumined it, and its lamp is the Lamb.
