Straight Talk, Streams of Glory… Rodna Epley

Need a miracle today? Jump into the stream of God’s glory! Here’s how this works…

In Acts 3, Peter speaks to and heals a lame man who was begging at the Gate called Beautiful. But what was also beautiful about this true story is that Peter gives us a clear example of how any son (or daughter) of God is supposed to operate in His kingdom and glory which is now on earth as we live. This is supposed to be the norm for all of us who are “in Christ”. It is not the exception, but the rule. It is not only for those who first knew Jesus Christ, but for us. The atmosphere of the kingdom of heaven is saturated with the glory of the Father. This is the same glory we are being transformed into every day more and more.

2 Corinthians 3:18 And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.

Only those who are “in Christ” may operate in His glory. Without Christ we can do nothing.

John 15:5 I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.

But with Christ nothing is impossible.

Matthew 17:20 He said to them, “Because of your little faith. For truly, I say to you, if you have faith like a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you.”

The flow of Father’s glory passes through Jesus Christ (the Door) and then through us. Glory’s flow brings healings and miracles like a Living Stream or River that never stops flowing from one person to another.

John 7:38 He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, ‘From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water. -Jesus

Our Father (our Creator) transforms everything He touches back into His image of perfection and beauty. God’s glory flows from the Father.

Follow the flow of glory. The LORD is the source of glory. Just ask Moses.

Exodus 33:18-23 Then Moses said, “Please show me Your glory.”

“I will cause all My goodness to pass in front of you,” the LORD replied, “and I will proclaim My name—the LORD—before you. I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.” And He added, “You cannot see My face, for no one can see Me and live.” The LORD continued, “There is a place near Me where you are to stand upon a rock, and when My glory passes by, I will put you in a cleft of the rock and cover you with My hand until I have passed by. Then I will take My hand away, and you will see My back; but My face must not be seen.”

The Father gives glory to the Son…

John 17:5 Now, Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was. -Jesus

The Son gives glory to Peter and believers…

John 17:22 The glory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one, just as We are one…

From Peter to the lame man…

Acts 3:6 But Peter said, “I have no silver and gold, but what I do have I give to you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk!”

From the lame man to all who witnessed his healing…

Acts 3:8 And leaping up, he stood and began to walk, and entered the temple with them, walking and leaping and praising God.

Then by all who witnessed his healing, expected and received their own healing…

Acts 3:10 and recognized him as the one who sat at the Beautiful Gate of the temple, asking for alms. And they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.

And to whomever witnessed and jumped into the flow of all the streams of those healings…

The stream became streams and kept on flowing down through the generations to us living today. We are to keep the stream of His glory flowing just the same. The pattern of the flow is so easy that anyone can receive their miracle right now. Just expect to as you read this. It was written for you. Your miracle doesn’t have to be healing. It could be “whatever you ask” or declare as you remain in the Word. And the Word remains in you.

Straight Talk…God’s Glory & Light, Rodna Epley

Posted in Rodna Epley with tags , , , , , , , on February 1, 2018 by paulthepoke

Rodna“Light” is a beautiful description! And biblical. In fact, God’s glory is on the light spectrum and higher even than military grade radiation. The Glory is not even on our charts because we can’t measure it or perceive it through natural means. The glory’s transforming power is able to bust through the toughest cancer or illness or even death and immediately zap and dispel the darkness!

The Bible says God’s glory is so much higher than anything we have ever known or seen or can comprehend with our minds that it actually has an “eternal weight”! Wow! What is an eternal weight?! And I thought a 2-ton elephant was heavy! Can you wrap your mind around an eternal weight of glory?! I can’t.

2 Corinthians 4:17 says it like this…For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison…

Romans 8:18 says…For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us.
God always uses what He calls “honest scales”. And all throughout His Word He asks us to do the same. Since we can’t comprehend the value of something that is part of Him (and if we can’t comprehend, it doesn’t become a part of us). God asks us to weigh or measure that unknown thing against something we do know the weight or measurement of. Then we in turn can know the weight of the unknown thing. Or at least have some sort of idea. So in the case of cancer, if we’ve experienced it, then we know it’s horrendous, heavy and scary weight. But Romans 8:18 Paul is implying that any suffering we have is so insignificant compared to the weight of God’s glory that we have absolutely nothing to fear. His glory will zap it out instantly while at the same time restore us to health.

In His glory is also healing since Romans 4:24, 6:4 says it was the “glory of the Father” that raised Jesus from the dead!

Romans 4:24…but for ours also. It will be counted to us who believe in him who raised from the dead Jesus our Lord…

Romans 6:4 We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life.

Light

God uses physical examples in all Jesus’ parables in attempt to get us to comprehend the hidden things of God. The idea of God’s glory is something we can’t fathom. He created the universe through it after all. The first thing He commanded in Genesis was “let there be light”. Then the light from His glory manifested at His spoken Word. So the Word is the activating agent of His manifested glory!
