Revelation 1:7 Behold, He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him, and all tribes of the earth will wail on account of Him. Even so. Amen.
Revelation 8:7 The first angel blew his trumpet, and there followed hail and fire, mixed with blood, and these were thrown upon the earth. And a third of the earth was burned up, and a third of the trees were burned up, and all green grass was burned up.
This is the scope and scale of the first trumpet judgment. This event introduces the second third of judgments in the Tribulation. The context of the verse above is 1/3 of the earth… 1/3! 1/3 of the trees.
All green grass… If all of the green grass goes then you know all of the dry grass is gone.
This goes without saying, but this will result in a lot of smoke.
Currently (September 2020) we are not in the Tribulation. There has not been a seven year covenant with many brokered by the antichrist. There is no Temple on the Temple Mount for him to defile. We have not entered into the seven year time of Jacob’s trouble.

Over 1,000,000 acres have been torched in Oregon as of the writing of this post. Fires continue to expand.
Roughly 375,000 acres are up in flames in Washington.
Yom Kippur or the Day of Atonement is celebrated on Tishri 10th. It is the last day of the 40 day period of Teshuvah. The holiday officially will be 10 days after Yom Teruah/Feast of Trumpets is declared at the sighting of the new moon. The new moon was declared on Thursday, September 21 outside of Jerusalem. In 2017, Yom Kippur is effectively Sunday, October 1 on our Gregorian calendar.
The Day of Atonement is viewed as the holiest day of Judaism. The day is a Sabbath day of rest. Yom Kippur is the only day a fast is required. The appointment begins at sun down.
The start of Teshuvah was announced in 2017 with a solar eclipse that crossed the United States from the northwest to the southeast. If one follows the understanding of the signs and symbols, the eclipse was a warning. Repent.
Teshuvah is the Hebrew word for repent. Change your heart and return to God. Live a Godly life. People are called to turn away from their sin and change course. It is a time of inward reflection and sincere self-assessment. There are 40 days to make this consideration. The season implies we have turned away from God. And we need to return to God.
Psalm 53:2-3 God looks down from heaven on the children of man to see if there are any who understand, who seek after God. They have all fallen away; together they have become corrupt; there is none who does good, not even one.
Romans 3:11 There is no one who understands; no one who seeks God.
The ultimate goal is to be face to face in relationship with God at Yom Kippur or the Day of Atonement. Sins are forgiven.
1 Corinthians 13:12 For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I have been fully known.

The question begs. Was this, is this a warning? Did the people repent during the 40 day period of Teshuvah? If not, judgment is coming. Do we really want to see judgment if this was a warning???
