Habakkuk 1:5 Look among the nations, and see; wonder and be astounded. For I am doing a work in your days that you would not believe if told. -LORD God
While missiles were inbound towards the nation of Israel, a group of priests headed west of Jerusalem to Mitzpe Yeriho to reenact a Shavuot Temple service. The group was headed by Baruch Kahane who was appointed as the High Priest by the Sanhedrin back in 2016.
Mitzpe Yeriho is located between Jerusalem and the Dead Sea.

It would appear Israel’s military is not stopping their intervention to formally recognize the holiday.
“The party that bears the guilt for this confrontation is not us, it’s those attacking us,” Netanyahu said in a televised speech. We are still in the midst of this operation, it is still not over and this operation will continue as long as necessary.” -Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu
Over 2,300 missiles and rockets have been fired into Israel since Monday. Today is day 6 of the conflict. Watch the Iron Dome anti missile battery in action.
Hamas and Islamic Jihad continue to fire rockets from Gaza toward Israeli civilians.
Below is an interesting message and response from Twitter. The social media site blocked the IDF from sending messages regarding missile and rocket warnings to the citizens of Israel.
We tried to tweet about sirens sounding in Beersheba but Twitter wouldn’t let us.
We know it’s repetitive—but that’s the reality for Israelis all over the country. pic.twitter.com/nqyhfbxrWI
The press is now further upset with Israel. A building that housed Middle East Eye, Al Jazeera, the Associated Press, and other press outlets was destroyed with a precision munition. The building was destroyed with surgical precision. Accounts indicate the building was empty of human personnel.
The IDF gave a one hour notice and multiple warnings to evacuate the building. The IDF indicated the building was home to Hamas intelligence.
“…entities belonging to the military intelligence of the terrorist organization Hamas.”

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has recently issued a statement in English in regards to the events taking place over the last week. Listen for yourself the Prime Minister’s complete comments.
PM Benjamin Netanyahu: "It has been 5 days since Hamas brazenly fired rockets at Jerusalem and other Israeli cities in a totally unprovoked attack. This past week, millions of Israelis were forced into bomb shelters as missiles rained down on our cities."https://t.co/ToeJPuwMCBpic.twitter.com/qCuvnfYkIB
We continue to keep an eye on the northern border of Israel.
NBC News Analyst Evan Kohlmann tweeted out the following. Upwards of 5 rockets were fired towards Israel. Currently, the Quneitra Province in Syria is home to Russian, Syrian, Iranian, Hezbollah, UN Troops and other factions. This is different than the three rockets fired from Lebanon the day before.
Representatives of Iraqi Shiite insurgent faction Ashab al-Kahf are insisting that "your Iraqi brothers participated" in the rocket attack earlier today targeting the Yesud HaMaala/Kfar Blum area in northern Israel launched from Syria's Quneitra Province.
Leviticus 23:15-16 ‘You shall also count for yourselves from the day after the Sabbath, from the day when you brought in the sheaf of the wave offering; there shall be seven complete Sabbaths. You shall count fifty days to the day after the seventh Sabbath; then you shall present a new grain offering to the Lord.
On a Gregorian calendar in the year of 2021, the holiday of Shavuot/Feast of Weeks/Pentecost begins at sunset on Sunday, May 16th. The God Appointed holiday ends at sunset Tuesday, May 18th. The Feast takes place in the month of Sivan on the 6th and 7th of a Hebrew calendar. This is the Hebrew year 5781.
Shavuot is one of the three holidays where Jewish men are required to come to Jerusalem (Exodus 23:14-17). The men were to make their presentation and sacrifice before God at the Temple.
Exodus 23:14-17 “Three times in the year you shall keep a feast to me. You shall keep the Feast of Unleavened Bread. As I commanded you, you shall eat unleavened bread for seven days at the appointed time in the month of Abib, for in it you came out of Egypt. None shall appear before me empty-handed. You shall keep the Feast of Harvest, of the firstfruits of your labor, of what you sow in the field. You shall keep the Feast of Ingathering at the end of the year, when you gather in from the field the fruit of your labor. Three times in the year shall all your males appear before the Lord GOD.

We are one week out from the fourth of seventh God appointed holidays. Tensions are running high in Jerusalem, specifically on the Temple Mount.
May 8, 2021: The Muslims are about to complete their month long holiday of Ramadan on the evening of Wednesday, May 12th. Palestinians and Muslims have made their way to the Temple Mount to worship at the Al Aqsa Mosque. There is an estimated 75,000 to 100,000 worshippers attending the events. Upwards of 200+ Palestinians have been injured according to various estimates.
Today marks the second day of confrontation between Muslim worshippers and the Israeli forces. Israel claims the Palestinians initiated the violence by throwing rocks and shooting fireworks at Israeli security.
“Israel is acting responsibly to ensure respect for law and order in Jerusalem while allowing freedom of worship,” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Palestinians are upset over the looming eviction of families from disputed neighborhoods in East Jerusalem.

Jewish men will be streaming into the Jerusalem this week as Ramadan ends in preparation for Shavuot or the Feast of Weeks. They will be making their way to the Western Wall of the Temple Mount.
Leviticus 23:9-14 Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, “Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them, ‘When you enter the land which I am going to give to you and reap its harvest, then you shall bring in the sheaf of the first fruits of your harvest to the priest. He shall wave the sheaf before the LORD for you to be accepted; on the day after the sabbath the priest shall wave it. Now on the day when you wave the sheaf, you shall offer a male lamb one year old without defect for a burnt offering to the LORD. Its grain offering shall then be two-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil, an offering by fire to the LORD for a soothing aroma, with its drink offering, a fourth of a hin of wine. Until this same day, until you have brought in the offering of your God, you shall eat neither bread nor roasted grain nor new growth. It is to be a perpetual statute throughout your generations in all your dwelling places.
Acknowledging social distancing practices, the Sanhedrin has completed a toned down version of barley harvest and omer wave offering.
The Sanhedrin requested Rabbi Aharon Yitzchak Stern to be in charge of the abbreviated ceremony.
“We did the best we could and what we were able to do was as close to the Biblical commandment as possible. It is a pity the government prevented us from performing the complete ritual on the Temple Mount which is currently empty.” -Rabbi Stern informed Breaking Israel News
With this quote, it appears the Sanhedrin was not allowed to sacrifice the Passover Lamb on the Temple Mount.
With the ceremony, the counting of the omer has begun. The culmination of the counting will close 50 days later at Shavuot or the Feast of Weeks or Pentecost.
On Shavuot, the law requires that two loaves of bread be brought to the Temple. The grain of the loaves is from wheat.
Leviticus 23:17 You shall bring from your dwelling places two loaves of bread to be waved, made of two tenths of an ephah. They shall be of fine flour, and they shall be baked with leaven, as firstfruits to the LORD.
Make no mistake, the Sanhedrin continues to look at completing sacrifices on the Temple Mount. They want to make the Shavuot offering on the Temple Mount in 50 days. The Sanhedrin also wants to make the second Passover offering on the Temple Mount next month.
The focus of this post is the consideration of the Holy Spirit in regards to the rapture. What are the ramifications to the Holy Spirit if the rapture is anything other than pre tribulation?
There are at least 16 verses in the Bible that proclaim believers in Jesus Christ are indwelled with the Holy Spirit. Below are a few examples.
The giving of the Holy Spirit is fulfilled prophecy.
Ezekiel 36:27 I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will be careful to observe My ordinances.
1 Corinthians 3:16 Do you not know that you are a temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?
2 Timothy 1:14 Guard, through the Holy Spirit who dwells in us, the treasure which has been entrusted to you.
Romans 8:11 But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.
Since the giving of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost/Shavuot in 33 AD, believers have received the Spirit of God. Today in the summer of 2016, believers in Jesus Christ have the Holy Spirit. Today, the Spirit resides on planet earth.
Believers are sealed with the Holy Spirit as well. There are at least 12 verses that state believers are sealed with the Spirit of God. Below are a few examples.
2 Corinthians 2:5 Now He who prepared us for this very purpose is God, who gave to us the Spirit as a pledge.
The pledge is the redemption of our bodies.
Ephesians 4:30 Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
A believer’s body is redeemed and glorified at the resurrection or rapture depending on the body’s condition. The sealing of the Spirit is a statement that we belong to God.
The Spirit is the One who holds back the antichrist. 2 Thessalonians 2:6 And you know what restrains him now, so that in his time he will be revealed.
The Greek word for “restrains” is katecho. Per Strong’s Concordance, it means: to hold back, detain, retain; from going away; to restrain, hinder. The present tense verb indicates the action is continual. As long as Spirit indwelled believers are on Earth, the evil of the antichrist will be restrained. If the Spirit is still present on the Earth, how can the antichrist be revealed?
If humanity indwelled with the Holy Spirit is present on Earth during the Tribulation (mid or post), then God the Father is bringing judgment and wrath upon His Spirit. Judgment upon the Spirit would mean sin would be judged twice.
Romans 6:10a For the death that He died, He died to sin once for all…
1 Peter 3:18 For Christ also died for sins once for all, the just for the unjust, so that He might bring us to God, having been put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit…
Hebrews 10:10 And by that will, we have been sanctified through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
There is a Greek word for “once for all”. It is hapax or ἅπαξ.
Was Christ’s death the first time not enough? Did Jesus do enough at the cross for sin? Was sin paid for or not? If the indwelled Spirit comes under wrath or judgment during the Tribulation, Jesus did not do the job at the cross the first time.
With the Mosaic Law, this 50 day period of time is known as the “counting of the omer”. So what is an “omer”? The Hebrew word for “sheaf” is omer. Per Strong’s Concordance, an omer is a sheaf or bundle of grain; or a dry measure. Exodus 16:36 (An omer is the tenth part of an ephah.) In a western culture, an omer is approximately 2.3 quarts (http://biblehub.com/weights-and-measures/).
During Temple worship, an omer of barley was brought to the Temple on the second day of Passover. This was a grain offering. This marked the first day of the count.
In Jewish culture, the counting of the omer (50 days) connects the Passover and Shavuot. The Passover is celebrated to remind the nation Israel of the Exodus out of Egypt. Shavuot or the Feast of Weeks is a memorial of God giving Moses and Israel the Torah. Hebraic belief is redemption from Egyptian slavery was not complete until they received the instruction or teaching.
The Law was given on Mount Sinai roughly 1,500 years before Christ. Nation Israel honored Shavuot, the Feast of Weeks, every year. Fast forward to 33 AD. Nation Israel has been celebrating and living God’s Appointed Spring holidays.
Jesus Christ, the Passover Lamb, had been sacrificed. He was the buried Unleavened Bread. Christ is the First Fruits.
Acts 2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit was giving them utterance. It is seven weeks after the death of the sacrificial lamb, Jesus. Shavuot or Pentecost is also the day God the Father gave the Holy Spirit. Because of this, Pentecost is considered the beginning or the birth of the church (believers in Jesus Christ).
Believers in Christ are cleansed of sin by the innocent blood of the Lamb. When that decision is made, we are sealed with the Holy Spirit. We are redeemed children of God, free of the bondage of sin.
Ephesians 1:13-14 In Him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in Him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, who is given as a pledge of our inheritance, with a view to the redemption of God’s own possession, to the praise of His glory.
Shavuot, Feast of Weeks, and Pentecost are synonymous. Shavuot is often associated with God giving the Torah, the birth of Judaism. Pentecost is often associated with God giving the Holy Spirit, the birth of the church. God chose His appointed holiday to reveal aspects of who He is.
