August 21, 2017: Sputnik news out of Russia issued the following statement about Scythian artifacts and history. A collection from Russia’s Hermitage Museum was released to London for exhibition. The collection tells the story of the “Scythians, powerful nomadic tribes from Siberia”. A majority of the artifacts have never left Russia until now. The discovered items have been preserved in Siberia’s ice, snow, and permafrost.
Here are a couple of quotes from the story.
Scythians – groups of formidable warriors that roamed the vast open plains of modern-day Siberia 2,500 years ago and stretched as far as the Black Sea and even the edge of China.
Scythians’ encounters with the Greeks, Assyrians and Persians were written into history. Feared and admired, the masters of mounted warfare were forgotten over time until now.
A Russian news story is identifying Scythians as Siberian Russians. Ancient historians consistently equate Scythians with Magog. Modern day Russia = Scythians = Magog per Russians.
