As usual, the rocket exchange between the Palestinians and the Israelis is all about perspective.
The events appear to be initiated by the death of Palestinian Islamic Jihad’s Khader Adnan. He was on a hunger strike for 86 days. Adnan was arrested in Israel on terrorism charges. When it was announced he died, four rockets were launched from Gaza. Israel responded. Then the two sides exchanged volleys.

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi flew to Damascus to meet Syrian President Bashar Assad.
Syria was widely shunned by Arab governments over Assad’s brutal crackdown on protesters and the breakdown in relations culminated with Syria being ousted from the Arab League in 2011. Ezekiel states Russia, Turkey, Iran and allies are prophesied to invade Israel (Ezekiel 38-39). Arguably, Sudan may join Magog (modern day Russia) in their invasion of Israel at some point in the future.
Fighting has broken out in the capital of Khartoum, Sudan. The Sudanese army has engaged with the Rapid Support Forces (RSF). The RSF has claimed to have captured Egyptian military forces.
Violence is spreading throughout the country.
As of this report, fifty seven civilians on the ground have been killed. Air travel to Sudan has been stopped. A passenger plane has been hit by a projectile. Two people aboard the plane have been killed.
The World Food Program has stopped services after three staff were killed.
Sudan’s Joint Chiefs of Staff says that there will be no negotiations or dialogue before the dissolution of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF). – Reuters

Fort Lauderdale, FL: This past Wednesday, 25 inches of rain fell in less than 24 hours. The airport was closed and looked like a lake.
The event is incredibly rare. It has been viewed as a 1-in-1,000-year event.

This year, the Returning to the Mount movement raised the anti to 20,000 shekels (roughly $5,600) for anyone attempting or finishing the sacrifice on the Temple Mount.

The globe is looking to dump the US Dollar. The purge has begun. Malaysia has joined the exodus this week.

Russia and India dump the Brent Crude Market and turn to the Middle East and Dubai. Dubai will now set the market price for a barrel of oil. The move indicates a shift away from the west and dollars to the east and likely the Chinese yuan.
The BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa) countries are looking to develop their own currency, for trade purposes of course.
- FedNow, the Federal Reserve’s digital payments system, will debut in July.

God wants honesty when it comes to economic matters.
The last couple of weeks in financial markets and global economics has been rocky. In the last two business weeks 5 banks have crashed. The United States has witnessed two of its largest bank failures in history.
Moody’s Investor Service has downgraded the entire United States banking system to negative.
“We have changed to negative from stable our outlook on the US banking system to reflect the rapid deterioration in the operating environment following deposit runs at Silicon Valley Bank (SVB), Silvergate Bank, and Signature Bank (SNY) and the failures of SVB and SNY.” -Moody’s
The banks in the United States includes: Silvergate Bank, Silicon Valley Bank, Signature Bank, and First Republic Bank. The mess has made its way across the Atlantic to Europe. Switzerland’s Credit Suisse required a bailout from the Swiss government.
The US Department of Treasury decided to insure all depositors in banks that expose a “systemic risk exception”, even those above the insured threshold of $250,000. The two banks who meet this “exception” include Silicon Valley Bank and Signature Bank. All depositors were “made whole”.

This “exception” appears to be on a case by case basis as decided by the boards of the FDIC, the Federal Reserve, President Biden, Secretary of the Treasury Janet L. Yellen.

The Debt Limit deadline looms some time around April 2023. The United States has wracked up $31.4 trillion in debt (31,400,000,000,000). Secretary Yellen has already warned Congress that if the Debt Limit is not increased, it would be crushing to the banking system.

The celebration is to take place in the Hebrew month of Adar on the 14th and 15th day. In the Gregorian year of 2023, the event starts on sundown Monday, March 6th and ends the next day on Tuesday, March 7th. Scripture tells us the holiday is to be celebrated annually.
Esther is a unique book in the Bible in that God’s name is not written or used. Even though God’s name is not seen, it is obvious Who is in control of the events of the narrative.
The spirit of Haman is alive and well in the ancient land the Bible calls Persia. We call it modern day Iran.
Under Secretary of Defense for Policy Colin Kahl made news with a comment regarding Iran. He was speaking to a Congressional Committee. Kahl is the third ranking Defense Department official.
“Because Iran’s nuclear progress since we left the JCPOA has been remarkable. Back in 2018, when the previous administration decided to leave the JCPOA it would have taken Iran about 12 months to produce one bomb’s worth of fissile material. Now it would take about 12 days.“
Iran is becoming more than a regional threat. The Pentagon sees Iran as a global threat. The reason, Iran’s relationship with Russia.
“We are now at a point where Iranian threats are no longer specific to the Middle East, but a global challenge,” Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense Dana Stroul.
“It is reasonable to expect that the tactics, techniques and procedures that the Iranians are learning and perfecting in Ukraine will one day come back to our partners in the Middle East, which is why we are increasing cooperation now, intelligence sharing, understanding these networks and increasing our collective defensive capabilities so that we are prepared to counter these threats in the region.“

February 20, 2023: Another 6.4 significant earthquake has struck Turkey. This time the location was Antakya, Turkey which is close to the border with Lebanon and west of Aleppo, Syria. The city is located north of Latakia, Syria which is home to a Russian Naval Base and troops.
Tsunami warnings were issued in the Mediterranean. Tidal wave damage was not reported.
According to multiple news outlets, over 47,000 people in Turkey and Syria have died from the series of earthquakes in the region.

The World Health Organization (WHO) quietly called an emergency meeting regarding an outbreak of Marburg Virus in Equatorial Guinea. Concern is the virus has spread to Ghana.
Marburg is a hemorrhagic virus that is similar to Ebola. Approximately 90% of people who contract Marburg die within 8 days of illness onset.

Russian President Vladimir Putin gave a big speech this week marking the one year anniversary of the invasion of Ukraine.

Of note, Putin indicated Russia will no longer participate in the START Nuclear Treaty.

CNN is reporting Russia had a failed missile test while U.S. President Joe Biden was in Ukraine. The SARMAT or Satan II missile has the ability to deliver multiple nuclear weapons. The missile has a range of 6,835 miles with a 100 ton weapon(s).
Test results have offered mixed reviews, allegedly. Sometimes it works and sometimes it does not.
