Red Heifer Update: No Candidates at This Time… Attitudes Are Changing

Numbers 19:1-2 Then the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying, “This is the statute of the law which the Lord has commanded, saying, ‘Speak to the sons of Israel that they bring you an unblemished red heifer in which is no defect and on which a yoke has never been placed.

“At this moment, we don’t have in our possession in Israel a red heifer that is verifiably kosher and suited for the ceremony. About two years ago, five excellent red calves were brought to Israel. They had been checked and certified in America as perfectly red but several months after they arrived, they began to grow white hairs. There is an ongoing discussion in the Temple Institute regarding their suitability about whether the proximity of the hairs to each other disqualifies the cows or not.”

“The question now is how to proceed. There are several essential questions that must be addressed regarding the cows themselves and other issues surrounding the issue of the Temple and the Temple service. “The American Secretary of Defense, Pete Hegseth, went to the Temple Mount and stated that it is time for us to move forward and build the Temple. This interest is seen on the internet on sites like Wikipedia where there are spikes in views on the articles about the red heifer. This is on articles in English and even Arabic, as well as other languages. But there is not such an interest in red heifer articles in Hebrew.”

Recently at the Western Wall of the Temple Mount…

Interestingly, through a quirk of Hebrew grammar, the phrase ‘where the Temple was built’ could also be understood as ‘where the Temple will be built.’

Trend Update: Passover Lamb Sacrificed in Jerusalem, 2017

April 9, 2017: Prior to this year, it was illegal for the Sanhedrin to perform a full scale Temple Passover sacrifice in modern Israel. This year, a court decision changed that. The Passover Lamb was sacrificed in the Old City across from the Western Wall and the Temple Mount. And the lamb was roasted in accordance per the Mosaic Law. The ceremony took place near the Hurva Synagogue.

Trend Update: Sanhedrin Calls on Trump & Putin to Rebuild Temple, November 2016

Ezra 1:1-2 In the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of the LORD by the mouth of Jeremiah might be fulfilled, the LORD stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, so that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom and also put it in writing:

Thus says Cyrus king of Persia: The LORD, the God of heaven, has given me all the kingdoms of the earth, and he has charged me to build Him a house at Jerusalem, which is in Judah…

November 10, 2016: The Jewish Sanhedrin is calling on Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin to come together and rebuild the Jewish Temple in Jerusalem. The Sanhedrin is encouraging the two leaders to act as modern-day Cyrus figures: non-Jewish kings who recognize the importance of Israel and the Temple.

“The leaders of Russia and America can lead the nations of the world to global peace through building the Temple, the source of peace,” Rabbi Weiss, the Sanhedrin Spokesman.

The Jerusalem Embassy Act of 1995 is a public law of the United States. The law was passed by the 104th Congress on October 23, 1995. The law states the United States Embassy in Israel should be moved from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. The law states Jerusalem is to be an undivided city. Jerusalem is recognized as the capital of Israel. Presidents Clinton, Bush, and Obama have opposed the law because of national security concerns. This law was to be enacted by May 31, 1999.

November 10, 2016: President elect Trump had stated on the campaign trail he wished to enact this law.

David Friedman co-chair of Trump’s Israel Advisory Committee stated, “It was a campaign promise and there is every intention to keep it. We are going to see a very different relationship between America and Israel in a positive way.”

Jewish leaders like Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat and Deputy Foreign Minister Tzipi Hotovely are calling on Trump to move quickly with the relocation of the embassy.

Friedman further elaborated the following. “The level of friendship between the U.S. and Israel is going to grow like never before, and it will be better than ever, even the way it was under Republican administrations in the past.”

“The hostility will be gone between Israel and the U.S. We know how Obama treated the prime minister of Israel and how [Hillary] Clinton berated the prime minister… We will move forward with mutual respect and mutual love and a much better future for the U.S. and Israel.”

In 2012, Putin visited Jerusalem for a third official visit. On a late night visit to the Western Wall, Putin was respectfully silent, prayed, and read Psalms. In response to a greeting from an Israeli citizen, Putin discussed the importance of the Temple Mount and the Jewish Temple.

“That’s exactly the reason I came here, to pray for the Temple to be built again,” Vladimir Putin.

In his first year of his leadership, King Cyrus called on the Jewish people to go home and rebuild their Temple. The Sanhedrin is calling on President Trump in his first year and for Vladimir Putin to push for the rebuilding of the Temple.

Temple Geography…Not One Stone

Matthew 24:1-2 Jesus came out from the temple and was going away when His disciples came up to point out the temple buildings to Him.  And He said to them, “Do you not see all these things? Truly I say to you, not one stone here will be left upon another, which will not be torn down.”

Now wait a minute…Modern day (November 2015) Jews go to the Western Wall in Jerusalem and pray. Jews are not allowed to ascend and pray atop the Temple Mount. There are stones stacked one upon another forming a wall. This is the site claimed as the Temple Mount.

If this wall is the site of the Temple, is Jesus wrong? There are clearly stones left upon another. Jesus said, “not one stone here will be left upon another, which will not be torn down.”

What if the Temple was located where the Bible says, near the Gihon Spring?

Looking at a picture of the modern day city of David, there is NOTHING present near the Gihon Spring.

Amos 9:11 In that day I will raise up the fallen booth of David, and wall up its breaches; I will also raise up its ruins and rebuild it as in the days of old…

The context of the verse in Amos 9 is the restoration of Israel under the lineage of King David. The Hebrew word for “booth” is succoth. This is the word for the Tabernacle. This is the word used for the Temple, God’s dwelling place.

Amos 9:14-15 Also I will restore the captivity of My people Israel, and they will rebuild the ruined cities and live in them; they will also plant vineyards and drink their wine, and make gardens and eat their fruit. I will also plant them on their land, and they will not again be rooted out from their land which I have given them,” Says the LORD your God.

Israel is back in the land and a country since 1948. Cities have been rebuilt. God says they are not going anywhere.

Just waiting on the Temple…

Trend Update: Temple Mount, November 2014

Matthew 24:15 “Therefore when you see the ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION which was spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place (let the reader understand)…   -Jesus

The holy place Jesus is referring to is the Temple. This is a future event where the antichrist will claim to be God in the Jewish Temple. Currently, there is no Temple. There is no antichrist on the scene. The Temple is a key piece to the end times scenario of the Bible.

Currently (November 2014), activity and passion are increasing on the real estate known as the Temple Mount. The politics of the Temple Mount are interesting. The nation of Jordan and the Muslim Waqf allow Jews to pray at the Western Wall, but not on top of the mount. Tensions are running high. Access to the mount was briefly closed for a day or two. Politicians are pleading for restraint and calm after Fatah called for “A day of rage”.

On October 29, 2014, Yehuda Glick was shot three times by an Islamic radical. Yehuda Glick is the chairman of the Temple Mount Heritage Foundation. Glick is a man who supports the idea of Jews being able to pray on top of the Temple Mount. Muslims are obviously opposed. They call this an act of war.

Glick also has another idea. He has a vision of three faiths (Islam, Christianity and Judaism) sharing the Temple Mount. This idea has been slowly gaining traction among Jews in Israel. Some believe it could be the key to a future solution to the Arab-Israeli conflict.

At this point, Glick has survived the shooting.

Momentum is gaining for the rebuilding of the third Jewish Temple. “Everyone now understands, in a brand new way, what we have been teaching for years – that the Temple Mount is the key to everything. That the destiny of the Jewish people is totally bound up with the Temple Mount and the rebuilding of the Holy Temple.” –Rabbi Chaim Richman, Temple Mount Institute

One can see how a peace deal can be brokered, Palestinian nation in exchange for Jewish Temple.
