Multiple news sites are confirming. Video has emerged of ballistic missiles hitting the US Consulate in Erbil, Iraq. The Fateh-110 missiles are believed to be launched from the East Azerbaijan Province in Iran.
The Fateh-110 is an Iranian short-range, road-mobile, solid-propellant ballistic missile.
And there are reports the Fateh-110s were used tonight, which also made a cameo appearance in the Soleimani revenge attack on U.S. forces in #Iraq on 01/08/2020. Would note #Iran has also launched Fateh-110s before on #Iraq, e.g. in September 2018 on KDPI HQ in Koya. 2/2

President Zelensky of Ukraine has requested peace negotiations to take place in Jerusalem. Zelensky personally reaches out to Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett. The United States pressures Israeli to join the west in sanctions against Russia. Israel attempts to keep a neutral position in the conflict.
President Isaac Herzog of Israel visits President Recep Erdogan of Turkey. Both countries look to thaw icy relations of the recent past.
The Iranian Nuclear deal has hit a snag. Top Iranian negotiator has been flying back and forth between Tehran and Vienna. Where does the situation stand as of today? Russia wants reassurances they can continue to do energy business with Iran. Reserves of natural gas and oil are at play in the Caspian Sea.
The Saudis are re-assessing their relationship with the United States. Can the Americans be trusted? Issues regarding the Sunni and Shia divide are coming into play. Sunni Muslims (Saudis, Pakistanis, and others) are growing increasingly concerned with Shia Muslims (Iranians). The issue is the Iranian Nuclear negotiations.
Libya’s new government has spoken out against Russia after receiving the Russian seal of approval. Libya is the largest producer of oil and natural gas in Africa. So of course, Russia is interested in Libyan affairs. Libya’s ultimate consideration is food imports and inflated prices from Ukraine and Russia.

In Matthew 16:1-20, when Jesus asked Peter, “Who do men say that I am?” His answer was, “You are the Christ, Son of the living God.” Jesus replied, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven.”
It was never Jesus’ job to reveal Himself. It is the Father’s job to not only draw people to Jesus (John 6:44), but also to reveal that Jesus is His Christ. Interestingly, it is Jesus’ job to reveal the Father to those He chooses. “No one knows the Son except the Father. Nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him. (Matthew 11:27)
The Father was not to give His glory “to another” OTHER than the Messiah (Christ) (Isaiah 42:8), and the Messiah gave His glory to us (John 17:5,22, Colossians 1:27). Christ the Messiah was one with the Father by way of the glory. It is the glory of God that makes things one (John 17:22).
Now we are carriers of this glory-treasure that is hidden “in earthen vessels” (2 Corinthians 4:6-7), until we discover it and activate it, hence Paul’s commands to “put on Christ” (Romans 13:14) and “stir up the gift” (2 Timothy 1:6).

It is not automatically activated upon receiving Jesus. It takes a true disciple to go deeper with God. That is a choice we make to choose Him, although He chose us first (John 15:16). Author, Larry Thompson, wrote in his book Riches of Glory, “We are born of imperishable seed, but as long as the seed remains inactive and not germinated, then nothing manifests.”
Jesus commanded “His glory into us.”
“This treasure in our earthen vessel is now, not when we get a glorified vessel. We are fellow-workers with the Father of glory, manifesting His glory wherever we go.”

When we speak of the person of Christ, we are speaking of a Man who operates in the fulness and brightness of the Father’s glory in exact representation of His person (Hebrews 1:3), or in the case of a man (or woman) in the process of being transformed into glory, the Holy Spirit is transfiguring us into the image of Christ from one glory level to another (2 Corinthians 3:18).
Jesus took off His garment of glory to put on our garment of flesh and entered our world to die, rise, and ascend to the right hand of the Father. From there He poured out His blood upon the mercy seat before the Father for the forgiveness of our sins, and He put the garment of glory back on.
He gave us the same garment to wear even in this life by pouring out His Spirit of glory into us, to be awakened more and more. To the degree that we activate the glory within us will be the degree our lives reflect Christ in this world. We do this through abiding in the word and allowing Jesus’ word to abide in us, through repentance from dead works and leaving the world of sin, through communion and fellowship with Christ and the church, through actively and daily separating the precious from the vile so we can be as God’s mouth (Jeremiah 15:19), and through speaking the words we hear the Holy Spirit declaring to us, and doing the works we see Him doing.
We read the Bible stories in a matter of minutes but they actually played out over a much longer period of time. Sure some of the events happened rather quickly but the actual unfolding of the stories took much more time.
For example Noah worked on the ark for several decades and was on the ark for about a year. We can read about it in a few minutes.
The listing of genealogies in various places seems like it takes forever to read trying to pronounce the weird names but it’s a blink of time compared to the length of the actual lives depicted. So in our impatience we usually just skip or otherwise ignore them not even considering the amount of time it represents for God to accomplish His will.
Like it was in the days of Noah, we are working in the presence of evils around us which God has pronounced judgment upon. But what are we to be working on during this time? We are to be building awareness of the coming destruction because of that judgment, while the rest of the world seems to just go about its business as usual.
Our desire for immediate gratification (a fruit of the spirit of the devil) wants the events in The Revelation to happen at the speed in which we read them. And by the way some people rearrange the sequence of the book they even want it to happen all at once.
But the actions of God happen over a much longer period of time than we’re comfortable with. His patience and endurance is much greater than ours.
The Revelation of Jesus Christ covers a period of time greater than three thousand years. Keep that timeframe in mind when you study it and realize things are not going to happen quickly nor conveniently for you or anyone else.

There is plenty of discussion about these two sets of Bible verses. Some would say this is the same scenario and is to take place after Jesus Christ’s Millennial Kingdom.
Others would say these are two different events in history. The Ezekiel scenario takes place before the Millennial Kingdom and the Revelation scenario takes place after the Millennial Kingdom.
Full disclosure, it is the website’s position these are two different events in history.
The first difference is the calling of Gog of Magog. In Ezekiel, it is God Himself who calls Gog. The good Lord is going fishing.
Ezekiel 38:4 And I will turn you about and put hooks into your jaws, and I will bring you out, and all your army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed in full armor, a great host, all of them with buckler and shield, wielding swords.
In Revelation, Gog and Magog are manipulated and tricked by Satan.
Revelation 20:8 and will come out to deceive the nations that are at the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them for battle; their number is like the sand of the sea.

A second observation is the audience. In Ezekiel 38-39, it is stated multiple times that Gog of Magog will come from the north. All things are relative to the center of the earth (Ezekiel 38:12), Israel. What are the uttermost parts of the north, modern day Russia.
Ezekiel 38:15 You will come from your place out of the uttermost parts of the north, you and many peoples with you, all of them riding on horses, a great host, a mighty army.

In Revelation, Satan deceives the nations or ἔθνος/ethnos in the Greek from the entirety of the earth, the four corners of the earth.

The third consideration is the time point.
The Revelation reference is straight forward. It is post Millennial Kingdom, 1,000 years after Jesus Christ has returned to earth to establish the Kingdom.

In Ezekiel 38-39, there are a couple of references to “the latter years“. The Hebrew term acharith could also be translated “end“. This is often a time referred to as prior to the coming of the Messiah and the establishment of the Kingdom.
Ezekiel 38:8 After many days you will be mustered. In the latter years you will go against the land that is restored from war, the land whose people were gathered from many peoples upon the mountains of Israel, which had been a continual waste. Its people were brought out from the peoples and now dwell securely, all of them.

Personally, the most compelling evidence lies in the geographical differences. The Revelation reference refers to the broad plain of the earth.
Revelation 20:9 And they marched up over the broad plain of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city, but fire came down from heaven and consumed them…
…the broad plain of the earth… Notice the term is singular, one land mass. Mountains and islands are not mentioned. They have been removed. The Greek word for “broad plain” is platos (πλάτος). Per Strong’s Concordance, the term suggests great extent. The Greek word for “earth” is ge (γῆ). The term is defined as: arable land; the ground, the earth as a standing place.
As of today in the 21st century, the “beloved city” is Jerusalem. And it sits on a mountain top. At some point in the future, geography will change.
Prior to the physical return of Jesus Christ to earth and at least another 1,000 years to the events in Revelation 20 with Gog and Magog, this takes place.
Revelation 16:20 And every island fled away, and no mountains were to be found.
The idea of no more mountains and changed geography is noted in multiple places in the Bible. Revelation is not the only source of this concept.
Psalm 97:5 The mountains melt like wax before the LORD, before the Lord of all the earth.
Psalm 46:6 The nations rage, the kingdoms totter; he utters his voice, the earth melts.
Isaiah 24:1 Behold, the LORD lays the earth waste, devastates it, distorts its surface and scatters its inhabitants.
Isaiah 24:19 The earth is utterly broken, the earth is split apart, the earth is violently shaken.
Micah 1:4 And the mountains will melt under him, and the valleys will split open, like wax before the fire, like waters poured down a steep place.
The level of destruction is unimaginable. We cannot comprehend. It says what it says.

In the Ezekiel 38-39 scenario there are multiple references to the mountains of Israel. Notice the context of the verse below is a great earthquake. The result speaks for itself.
Ezekiel 38:20b …And the mountains shall be thrown down, and the cliffs shall fall, and every wall shall tumble to the ground.

It stands to reason, these are two separate events which are separated by at least 1,000 years.
Proverbs 22:8 Whoever sows injustice will reap calamity, and the rod of his fury will fail.
Czekmate has a number of complaints about this war of propaganda. It takes a discerning eye to get what appears to be truth out of it, from the Ukrainian side and (nearly as always) the Russian one.
Thoughts to consider via a pretentious self-Q&A — Are people dying? Surely.
Is there a humanitarian crisis? Unquestionably, based strictly on the amount a fear being generated among the population.
Are troops in contact? Seems to be the case if even the Russians will admit casualties.
Are the Ukrainians using the violence to mask international criminality under the pretense of Russian attack? Almost certainly evidence is being destroyed and made to look like battlefield violence. Anyone who’d have turned state’s evidence in relation to the Maidan Massacre, Hunter Biden/Burisma, or the bogus Ukraine impeachment scandal best be out of the country and have exfiltrated documents.
Are the Ukrainians effectively using their military aid donated to them by western states? Not sure, they are horrendously irresponsible weapons proliferators – if we see Javelins and Stingers on the international black arms market, we’ll a sign of profiteering. Remember Libya, that is how we ended up with Benghazi and weapons trafficking to Syria through Turkey.
Is the violence fueling internecine fighting in Ukraine? This was the case in Iraq, where tribes would open a fight against each other and try to draw in the coalition. There is likely some Ukrainian mafia infighting among the targets being struck. In other words, the combat becomes cover for the Ukrainian Mafia world to consolidate and realign power among the criminal groups.
This was the secret to Putin’s rise to power toward the tail end of the mafia criminal wars in Moscow and Saint Petersburg (1990s). Much of this fighting will have a component involving the reordering the Ukrainian underworld. This was the case in the second Chechen war and the Russian intervention in Georgia. In that way, the appearance of a crescendo in Russian violence needs to be considered.
Is Zelensky a hero like CNN/MSNBC/FOX says? Time will tell. He is riding a wave of international acclaim that is probably fueling some muted outrage in the Kremlin. For an information war, Ukraine and the International/DNC hacks are just showing the Russians that they can ‘play the game harder’.
In the case of Mr. Zelensky, having little/no experience in situations like this, he is way too cool. He would also do well to remember that other international figures of acclaim include Michael Avenati (thief), Yassir Arafat (terrorist) and Anthony Fauci (charges pending).
