It took me a long time to figure out, but I’ve learned I can’t do life alone or in my own way. I have to go to God every day for guidance. I have to listen & do life His way. I’d be completely lost & a huge mess if not for Him. Doing things my way led to depression. It made me want to hide from the world & want to stop living. I am thankful that my Father in Heaven was looking out for me. Go to God for everything!

Jeremiah 49:23 Concerning Damascus. “Hamath and Arpad are put to shame, for they have heard bad news; they are disheartened. There is anxiety by the sea, it cannot be calmed.
Hamath: The name means “fortress”. In the times of Jeremiah, Hamath was a city in valley of the Orontes River. Hamath was the capital of the northern kingdom of ancient Syria. Today, this is the city known as Hama, Syria.

September 7, 2017: Hama, Syria is prophetically significant. Roughly 2,600 years ago the prophet Jeremiah wrote about Hamath, Syria. In the early morning hours, Israeli Defense Force jets bombed a chemical plant on the outskirts of the ancient city. The operation took place at approximately 2:30 in the morning. The location has been dubbed as a “scientific research center for chemical weapons”. Missile development is also believed to be conducted at this site. Multiple weapons convoys were also hit during operation. Two Syrian soldiers are reported as dead.
Amos Yadlin is the former head of Israeli military intelligence and Executive Director of Tel Aviv University’s Institute for National Security Studies (INSS). In response to the attack in Syria, Yadlin tweeted the following.
“The reported attack overnight is not routine. It is a military-scientific Syrian site in which they produce, among other things, precision missiles, some of which will be significant in the next military campaign.”
“…chemical weapons and explosives that have killed thousands of Syrian civilians. If it was an Israeli attack, it is finally an Israeli moral statement about the massacre in Syria.”
“Israel won’t allow for empowerment and production of strategic arms. Israel intends to enforce its red lines despite the fact that the great powers are ignoring them. The presence of Russian air defense does not prevent airstrikes attributed to Israel. Now it’s important to keep the escalation in check and to prepare for a Syrian-Iranian-Hezbollah response and even opposition from Russia.”
Which brings up an interesting question. What happened to the Russian S400 Missile System response?
In response, Syria has announced the following warning of “dangerous repercussions of this aggressive action to the security and stability of the region”.
The United States sanctions on this “research” facility and its employees have now been rendered useless.

Millions of people and their safety are potentially in the hands of Kim Jung Un, Dennis Rodman, and Donald Trump. Hard to believe we are going to forget this. But humanity does not learn from its mistakes.

What time is it on God’s calendar? One thing is clear. Humanity has absolutely butchered the ability to mark time as God intended.
Look at all of the calendars. Gentile calendars are generally based on solar cycles. There is the Julian calendar. The Julian calendar is used by the Stellarium software system that many utilize for the Revelation 12 Sign in the heavens. In western society and here in the United States, our calendar is a Gregorian calendar. In 1582, Pope Gregory noted a difference in time as related to the equinoxes and solstices. This variance was affecting the ability to mark Easter accurately.
The Chinese have their calendar. Muslims have their calendar and on and on and on…
God says the first month is Nisan in the spring.
Exodus 12:1-2 Now the Lord said to Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt,“This month shall be the beginning of months for you; it is to be the first month of the year to you…”
What do the Jewish people do? The Jewish people have two calendars. There is a civil calendar and a religious calendar. The spring month of Nisan is the beginning of the religious or spiritual year in a Hebrew calendar. The beginning of the civil year is the seventh month of Tishri in the fall. A Hebrew Year always contains 12 Hebrew months in a regular year or 13 Hebrew months in a leap year.
The modern day Sanhedrin recognizes there is an error with the current time keeping system as ordained by God. Prior to the 4th century, the calendar was determined by observation. The calendar has been calculated mathematically since 4th century. Years are numbered from creation. Error occurred when man strayed from observation and started calculating.
“Even though the calendar needs to be adjusted, unity is of the utmost importance. Jews are required to adhere to the calendar accepted by the entire nation. Until a formal Sanhedrin is accepted by the nation, Jews must use the established calendar and observe the holidays on the days mandated by rabbinic authorities,” Rabbi Hillel Weiss, Sanhedrin Spokesman.
Do you have confidence in any aspect of humanity to accurately tell time as God intended? As a people, are we sure we are accurate in our understanding of what we are seeing in the sky and how it relates to the timing of events?
Please understand, I hope the Rapture Fall 2017 is right. That would be awesome. Let’s get an eternity of bliss started. There are good men who have spent countless hours of dedication and excellent scholarship on the Revelation 12 Sign. That needs to be recognized.
It also needs to be recognized there are others who have looked into the Revelation 12 Sign. And some of us respectfully question and/or disagree with the timing of the rapture in regards to the date presented (September 23, 2017).
Questioning and/or disagreement does not make us heretics because we differ. I am a sinner. I am a flawed man. The space between my ears is a dangerous place. Jesus Christ died for all of my sins. He was buried. And Jesus rose from the dead on the third day according to the Scriptures. I/we are all members of the bride and body of Christ in His good news. This is what is important.
I personally believe the resurrection/rapture event will take place on the Feast of Trumpets or Yom Teruah. To me, the issue is the year. There are some who make excellent arguments for the rapture during the Feast of Weeks or Pentecost. It is called Shavout in the Hebrew. I was once in the Pentecost rapture camp. I was first taught the rapture event is “imminent” and it could happen at any moment. Our salvation is not dependent on us understanding the Revelation 12 Sign.
We should be ready for our gathering to Christ in the clouds regardless of what is in the sky on any given date. Be ready. Stay ready regardless of what does or does not happen on any day!
A pastor I know made a common sense statement on matters such as the Revelation 12 Sign. “Good men can respectfully disagree.”
Dig in on your own with the Holy Spirit. Encouragement to study the Scriptures is highly recommended.

September 5, 2017: These are the headlines for the day…We will start in Israel.
Israel is rehearsing an attack on the terrorist group Hezbollah out of Lebanon. The military exercise is taking place in northern Israel. The activity is a war simulation. Hezbollah’s response, “We are ready for an act of Israeli stupidity.”
ISIS is out at Deir Ezzor, Syria on the Euphrates River. The fighting continue in Raqqa, Syria. This is the only remaining stronghold of ISIS. Raqqa is on the Euphrates River. ISIS is getting seriously squeezed in the Middle East.
And the earthquakes and famine portions of the verse were not addressed in this post. Let alone regional flooding throughout the planet and Harvey and Irma…

Everyone looks forward to the day you stay home when everyone else is working. A lifetime of work obligations has finally come to an end; your time now belongs to you! Unfortunately, a new set on concerns emerges: how will the bills get paid when you quit working? Will the Nest Egg last 30 years? How much is enough?
It is always a surprise to realize just how expensive Life can be. Retirement is not necessarily cheap. This is the time when dreams are realized and Cruises are booked, Flights are booked, Motor Homes bought and travel plans are made. You and your spouse have planned for years to enjoy a trouble free and worry free life. Grandchildren are visited and taken to Disneyland or Lego Land, memories are made to last forever. However, very few will enjoy their “Golden Years”.
The average baby Boomer turning 66 today has earned a Social Security payment of approximately $1404 a month. This is for someone who has forgone “Early” payments and has waited to receive the “Full Retirement” benefit. Unfortunately, most Retirees take early retirement as soon as they qualify at 62 and the monthly revenue drops to $1077 per month. Either way, most working couples can count on Social Security for well less than $2800/month; for Life! Hardly riches to fund Cruises or Motor Homes! In addition, the average “Nest Egg” is $109,000. Sorry, it needs to last a long time and annuitized, results in a monthly payment of less than $400 per month. The Government Accounting Office tracks these statistics and it is even worse than this scenario: the average Baby boomer receives less than $19,000 a year and has a net worth of less than $35,000. Further, many retirees are 100% out of money within 10-20 years of retirement. This has resulted in a record labor participation rate of 62% for workers aged 75+; retired and back to work! Saving and conserving is woefully lacking in preparing for an American Retirement. Everyone MUST invest.
There are basically 4 asset classes for the average American: Stocks, Bonds, Commodities, and Real Estate. Stocks and Bonds have done incredibly well since 2009. So well, many believe a bubble exists in both asset classes. Stocks have enjoyed a Market with virtually no corrections or downturns for years and may be extremely overdue and overvalued. Risk in the Stock Market may be much higher than many realize. An average recession results in a 39.6% loss in most portfolios; at 66, there is not time to re-build. Bonds have been calculated by Martin Armstrong to be close to a 5,000 year high with interest rates below the ancient Sumerians! Any rise in rates devastates a Bond portfolio and with rates this low, yields are likely to rise more than fall.
Commodities have been devastated and although prices seem to have stopped falling, it may be after the next recession before they recover. Real Estate is also subject to Market Declines that devastate other Asset Classes, but the Cycle length is much longer while the Cash Flow component mitigates any market turbulence. The Cash Flow is a great help during Recessions when business is struggling.
Rental homes continue to consistently provide monthly cash flow even in down turns and historically have appreciated gaining in value and monthly rental cash flow. Rental homes are perfect for Retirement planning and can be held inside retirement vehicles like Self-Directed IRA’s or can be held personally where they often offer Tax Shelter to qualified owners. Cyclically, Real Estate enjoys a long 18.5 year average duration and although corrections in an ongoing Bull Market can occur, accumulation for a cycle review in 2023/2024 could be appropriate.

August 31, 2017: The United States is allowing Iranian supported militia less than ten kilometers from the Israeli Golan Heights in Syria. Israel obviously does not support the move. Syria is supported by Iran and Hezbollah out of Lebanon. All of these groups are Shia Muslims and they support Syria’s President Assad.
The support behind all of the Shia activity in Syria is Russia. These comments are quoted per Pravda out of Russia. These were the observations of the Russians regarding Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in his meeting with Vladimir Putin in Sochi, Russia last week.
Netanyahu was observed to be “too emotional and at times even close to panic”. Israeli officials denied the observations.
The Head of Hezbollah Hassan Nasrallah has surfaced, literally. Nasrallah made the road trip from his bunker to Damascus to see President Assad of Syria. The leader of Hezbollah has been living in a hole since 2006 and the war against Israel. Nasrallah is on Israel’s most wanted list.
“We call on the state to devise a plan and take a sovereign decision to liberate the Shebaa Farms and the Kfarshouba Hills,” Hassan Nasrallah, Leader of Hezbollah.
Shebaa Farms is also known as Mount Dov in Hebrew. Nasrallah apparently wants to go another round with Israel.
August 28, 2017: ISIS and Hezbollah agreed to a truce. Hundreds of ISIS fighters and pro ISIS civilians were sent packing in a bus from the Lebanon and Syria border. It is believed pro ISIS people were sent to eastern Syria near Iraq. With this deal, ISIS is done in Lebanon. (As an aside, ISIS has been defeated west of Mosul in Tal Afar, Iraq. ISIS is essentially done in Iraq. And ISIS is on the ropes in Raqqah, Syria.)
Nasrallah was in support of the deal and told Assad the following.
“We have a humanitarian cause. We wish you to help us. We can only know what happened to the soldiers through this compromise.”
Assad told Nasrallah, “This will make things difficult for me.”
August 31, 2017: Behold Israel is reporting Russia has stationed the S-400 missile system near Tartus. This is the factory that manufactures long-range missiles for Hezbollah. The factory is supported and paid for by Iran.
