Habakkuk 1:5 Look among the nations, and see; wonder and be astounded. For I am doing a work in your days that you would not believe if told. -LORD God

Saudi Arabia and Iran appear to be willing to discuss the idea of normalizing relations. These two nations are in constant conflict and competition throughout the Middle East. Ezekiel 38 states Sheba and Dedan (modern day Saudi Arabia) will protest a future invasion of Israel from Russia, Iran, and others but ultimately do nothing.

Revelation 8:8-9 The second angel sounded, and something like a great mountain burning with fire was thrown into the sea; and a third of the sea became blood, and a third of the creatures which were in the sea and had life, died; and a third of the ships were destroyed.
Dead Sea: A pool of water near the Dead Sea has turned blood red. Speculation is running rampant but no definitive answers. Experts from Jordan are currently investigating…
For those who are new to the website, we are not in the Tribulation. This is not the fulfillment of Revelation 8. A massive asteroid did not strike an ocean. A third of sea life was not destroyed. There was not one boat, let alone a ship in the water. This is a pool of red water near the Dead Sea.
However, this event is different. This is a body of water in Jordan near the Promised Land. This is the first time since the phenomena has been followed by the website that the occurrence has taken place near Israel.
This is yet another example of the phenomenon of a blood red body of water. Experts cannot explain it away. It keeps happening. This continues to happen on a small scale. Revelation 8 informs of 1/3 of the sea turning blood red, not a pool near the Dead Sea.

Jordan, welcome to the blood red body of water club!
Genesis 13:10 Lot lifted up his eyes and saw all the valley of the Jordan, that it was well watered everywhere— this was before the LORD destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah—like the garden of the LORD, like the land of Egypt as you go to Zoar.
The Dead Sea area is believed to be the home of Sodom and Gomorrah. Scholars point to the southeastern tip of the Dead Sea as the location. In the past, it was not a barren desert and wasteland. This area was compared to the Garden of Eden in Genesis 13. The Hebrew grammar makes the point the area was well watered everywhere. Destruction of the area is estimated around 2,000 BC with God’s judgment. The area has been literally dead for approximately 4,000 years. See Genesis 19 for details.
Ezekiel 47:8-10 And he said to me, “This water flows toward the eastern region and goes down into the Arabah, and enters the sea; when the water flows into the sea, the water will become fresh. And wherever the river goes, every living creature that swarms will live, and there will be very many fish. For this water goes there, that the waters of the sea may become fresh; so everything will live where the river goes.Fishermen will stand beside the sea. From Engedi to Eneglaim it will be a place for the spreading of nets. Its fish will be of very many kinds, like the fish of the Great Sea.
The context and location of these two verses in Ezekiel is the promised, future Temple in Jerusalem during the reign of the Messiah, Jesus. This is another example of a future Temple. Water flowing from Jerusalem to the east has to go to the Dead Sea. Currently in 2016, there is no river from Jerusalem to the Dead Sea. The Jordan River is the only water source to the Sea.
These verses are stating the water of the Dead Sea is so incapable of life and beyond sick. Today, the Dead Sea is 10 times saltier than the oceans. But life giving water from Jerusalem and the Temple will heal and resurrect the Dead Sea.
Engedi is on the western shore of the Dead Sea approximately at the halfway point. Eneglaim is believed to be on the northern tip of Dead Sea where the Jordan River spills into the sea. The reference to Eneglaim is the only occurrence in the Bible. This is roughly 20-25 miles between the two locations. The amount and diversity of fish will be consistent with the Mediterranean Sea. During 2011, divers from Ben Gurion University went to the bottom of the Dead Sea. Craters (15 X 20 meters) were noted with fresh water flowing out of them. Microorganisms were observed to coat the craters. Signs of life were noted at the bottom of the Dead Sea.
In the summer of 2016, fresh water ponds with fish have been reported near the shores of the Dead Sea. Green vegetation is beginning to sprout. Ducks are moving back into the area.
Zechariah 14:8 And in that day living waters will flow out of Jerusalem, half of them toward the eastern sea and the other half toward the western sea; it will be in summer as well as in winter.
Here is another verse indicating life giving, fresh water will flow from Jerusalem to the east and down towards the Dead Sea. The context of this verse is the Messiah standing on the Mount of Olives. The culmination of Zechariah 14 is the great earthquake that splits the Mount in two leaving a valley.
It appears this process is beginning to take place. The Dead Sea is resurrecting back to life.
Ezekiel 38:12 to capture spoil and to seize plunder, to turn your hand against the waste places which are now inhabited, and against the people who are gathered from the nations, who have acquired cattle and goods, who live at the center of the world.
to capture spoil and to seize plunder… Here are the intentions of Gog, the leader of Magog (Russia). The Russians are going to invade to steal natural resources from Israel.
“capture spoil” or shalal in the Hebrew. Per Strong’s Concordance, the word means: draw out, plunder, or take spoil.
“seize” or bazaz in the Hebrew. Per Strong’s, the word means: to spoil, plunder, prey upon, seize, or despoil.
Israel possesses “plunder” or baz in the Hebrew. This is the noun form of the verb above.

Does the nation of Israel have anything worth taking?
The coast of Israel is home to two tremendous areas of natural gas. The Leviathan oil and gas basin in the Mediterranean Sea is believed to hold 1.7 billion barrels of oil. The basin also holds an estimated 122 trillion cubic feet of natural gas (Noble Energy, U.S. Geological Survey). A second oil and natural gas basin is the Tamar. It is estimated to hold 7.9 trillion cubic feet of natural gas (Noble Energy).
The Dead Sea area provides magnesium, bromides, phosphates, potassium, calcium and chlorides of sodium. These minerals are important for the production of fertilizers and explosives. http://www.thetruthaboutisrael.uk/natural-resources/
Israel is known as a world leader for diamond cutting and polishing.
Technology development is a cornerstone of the Israeli economy. It has been coined the Silicon Wadi.
…to turn your hand against the waste places which are now inhabited… This is an accurate description of the land of Israel prior to their return to the land in the early 20th century. The land was known as chorbah in the Hebrew. Per Strong’s it means: a place laid waste, ruin, waste, desolation, or a desert.
… and against the people who are gathered from the nations… From the Balfour Declaration in 1917, the rebirth of a nation in 1948, to reclaiming Jerusalem as its capital in 1967, Jews have been returning to their land to the present day.
… who have acquired cattle and goods… Cows from Israel are noted to be the most productive in the world when it comes to milk. Cows are constantly monitored and under intense observation. Data is taken intently from a variety of perspectives.
… who live at the center of the world. Notice God’s view of the nation Israel. This is where His people live. The geography of the nation is “the center of the world”.
As promised to the regions and tribes of Zebulun and Issachar, Deuteronomy 33:19b…For they will draw out the abundance of the seas, and the hidden treasures of the sand.
