On This Week in Prophecy… We have an operational update on the happenings in Ukraine. Russia is struggling to make gains. Ukraine continues to push the Russians out of their country. Russia has devastated utility services within Ukraine. Missile strikes have rendered the majority of the country without electricity. Basic provisions such as heat and water are being hit hard. Winter is beginning to set in…

Ezekiel 38:3-6 and say, Thus says the Lord GOD: Behold, I am against you, O Gog, chief prince of Meshech and Tubal. And I will turn you about and put hooks into your jaws, and I will bring you out, and all your army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed in full armor, a great host, all of them with buckler and shield, wielding swords. Persia, Cush, and Put are with them, all of them with shield and helmet; Gomer and all his hordes; Beth-togarmah from the uttermost parts of the north with all his hordes—many peoples are with you.

Turkey and Iran have discovered something they both have in common. They both have declared war on “terrorists” as they see it, the Kurds.

Turkey wants to be an energy hub partnering with Moscow, and Iran is selling drones to Moscow. Economics ties Turkey and Iran to Moscow. In this respect, they have a common policy, but not necessarily a policy that is solely anti-Kurdish. The end result is that Kurds are victims and pay the price for the Ankara-Tehran partnership.

Nahum 1:5 Mountains quake because of Him and the hills dissolve; indeed the earth is upheaved by His presence, the world and all the inhabitants in it.

Psalm 97:5 The mountains melt like wax before the LORD, before the Lord of all the earth.

Micah 1:4 And the mountains will melt under him, and the valleys will split open, like wax before the fire, like waters poured down a steep place.

Isaiah 24:1 Behold, the LORD lays the earth waste, devastates it, distorts its surface and scatters its inhabitants.

After a 38 year snooze, the world’s largest active volcano, Mauna Loa, has come to life in Hawaii. Fear not, the experts state there is nothing to worry about…

Area: 2,035 mi². Mauna Loa is 13,680 feet above sea level and more than 56,000 feet from its peak to its underwater base, according to USGS. Its volume is estimated to be some 18,000 cubic miles. -Google

Some locals have indicated they are watching a sacred, religious event. Altars have been constructed and sacrifices are being made near Mauna Loa.

Revelation 6:6 And I heard what sounded like a voice from among the four living creatures, saying, “A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius, and do not harm the oil and wine.”

The Dutch government is looking to purchase 3,000 farms and industrial polluters. Farmers are in the crosshairs for environmental violations. The crime, ammonia and nitrogen oxide emissions exceed EU law.

“For agricultural entrepreneurs, there will be a stopping scheme that will be as attractive as possible. For industrial peak polluters, we will get to work with a tailor-made approach and in tightening permits. After a year, we will see if this has achieved enough.” -Christianne van der Wal, Nitrogen Minister

So why is this a big deal? Netherlands is the second largest food exporter in the world behind the United States. Agriculture is over a 100 billion Euro business.

A friendly reminder, the composition of our atmosphere and the air we breathe is roughly 79% Nitrogen.

Jubilee, Part 3, What About Food?

Posted in #PaulthePoke, Jubilee, Prophecy, Trend Update with tags , , , , , , , , , , , on October 31, 2021 by paulthepoke

Leviticus 25:11-12 That fiftieth year shall be a jubilee for you; in it you shall neither sow nor reap what grows of itself nor gather the grapes from the undressed vines. For it is a jubilee. It shall be holy to you. You may eat the produce of the field.

The same agricultural rules apply for the Jubilee year as a Sabbatical or Shemitah year. A Jubilee year is like a Sabbatical or Shemitah year on steroids. By definition, a Jubilee year comes immediately after a Shemitah year (Leviticus 25:8-13).

https://paulthepoke.com/?s=shemitah

For two consecutive years, the land is to rest. There is to be no physical labor or working of the land. Seed is not to be planted. The soil is not to be tilled or turned over. Weeds are left to grow unchecked. Olive trees are not to be trimmed or pruned. Grape vines are left unattended to grow wildly. Whatever grows will grow. The farmers are not to harvest or gather crops that do grow during the Sabbatical year or the Jubilee year. The food that grows is for the farmer, servants, workers, foreigners, and the poor. Of the food that is not eaten by people, the remainder is for the animals.

On the surface, this does not seem very practical. What are we going to eat if we let the land rest for two consecutive years? God says no farming activity for every 49th and 50th years. It would be three years before any organized farming and harvest is to take place.

The context of these verses is the discussion of consecutive Sabbath years of rest for the land, a seventh year Sabbath and year of Jubilee following. The question is being asked of God. If we cannot work the fields, how are we expected to eat and survive?

Has God lost His mind? What kind of law is this? Crazy…

Relax, God has taken this into consideration. He has a plan.

Leviticus 25:20-22 ‘But if you say, “What are we going to eat on the seventh year if we do not sow or gather in our crops?” then I will so order My blessing for you in the sixth year that it will bring forth the crop for three years. ‘When you are sowing the eighth year, you can still eat old things from the crop, eating the old until the ninth year when its crop comes in.

God says He will abundantly provide with bumper crops in the year before the land’s Sabbatical rest, three times the usual amount. Three times the production should do it; one for the Shemitah year, one for the Jubilee year, and one for the crop planted when farming is re-initiated until harvested.

A point of the Shemitah and Jubilee is to turn and trust in God. He will provide.

Provision given by God. Prepare and save for the season. He tells you what is coming.

Granted, the Shemitah and Jubilee are part of the Mosaic Law for the Promised Land of God’s chosen people, Israel. But do take these into consideration on a global scale.

Millennial Kingdom: Massive Crops

Amos 9:13 “Behold, days are coming,” declares the LORD, “When the plowman will overtake the reaper and the treader of grapes him who sows seed; when the mountains will drip sweet wine and all the hills will be dissolved.

This verse is in reference to the agricultural cycle in Israel. It speaks to the volume of workers necessary to manage the harvest of crops.

When the plowman will overtake the reaper… In Israel, plowing and tilling of the ground takes place in October and November. The harvest of the grain crops occurs in April and May. The point is the bounty of the crops. Grain will be so plentiful, the reapers will take all summer to harvest. It will be time to work the ground again before the harvest is finished.

…the treader of grapes him who sows seed…To make juice and wine, workers stomped on the grapes in bare feet to crush. It is going to take a lot of folks to manage the volume of grapes. The grape harvest occurs in August and September. Planting is done in November and December. The number of clusters will be ridiculous. The workers who stomp grapes for juice will still be working until November and December.

…when the mountains will drip sweet wine and all the hills will be dissolved. The idea is the grape juice and wine will be so abundant the hills will melt.

The man in charge during the Millennial Kingdom who will oversee the volumes of grape juice has a history of generosity when it comes to wine.

Bumper crops will be year around whether it is grain or fruit.

Agricultural cycles and related information provided by NET Bible.

John 2:6 Now there were six stone water pots set there for the Jewish custom of purification, containing twenty or thirty gallons each. So there were 120-180 gallons of water…

John 2:9-10 When the headwaiter tasted the water which had become wine, and did not know where it came from (but the servants who had drawn the water knew), the headwaiter called the bridegroom, and said to him, “Every man serves the good wine first, and when the people have drunk freely, then he serves the poorer wine; but you have kept the good wine until now.”

Jesus serves and gives freely and abundantly to all. He always gives His best. He does not hold back. It does not matter if one is rich or poor. Christ has done it in the past. He continues in the present. And Yeshua will do it again in the future.

Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.

Millennial Kingdom: Access to Wealth

Posted in Isaiah, Millennial Kingdom, Prophecy with tags , , , , , , , , on July 31, 2016 by paulthepoke

A future Millennial Kingdom will have abundant food and economic prosperity. Somebody is going to have to plant, harvest, clean, package, distribute, and prepare all of this food. Finding work will not be a problem. Agriculture and related industry appear to play a significant role during this time. People will be living longer and the population is expected to explode accordingly.

Isaiah 30:23 Then He will give you rain for the seed which you will sow in the ground, and bread from the yield of the ground, and it will be rich and plenteous; on that day your livestock will graze in a roomy pasture.

The Hebrew word for “bread” is lechem. It means: grain, food, or bread per Strong’s Concordance.  A farmer will plant the seed and many will harvest the crop. Grain will be stored, then transported for the production of food and bread. Look at the jobs created…farm equipment; roads built; construction; energy use and distribution; bakeries and bakers; grocery stores…you get the idea.

…the yield of the ground, and it will be rich and plenteous…The Hebrew word for “rich” is the adjective dashen. It means: a substitute for fat or vigorous. The Hebrew word for “plenteous” is shamen. It means: fat, rich, robust. There are going to be a series of bumper crops.

…livestock will graze in a roomy pasture. The cattle, sheep, goats and such will have plenty of room to roam and a bounty of grains and grasses to feed.

Jeremiah 31:12 They will come and shout for joy on the height of Zion, and they will be radiant over the bounty of the LORD— Over the grain and the new wine and the oil, and over the young of the flock and the herd;, and they will never languish again.

The people of Israel are described as “radiant” or nahar in the Hebrew. This could also be translated and described as to shine, beam, light, or burn.

They are excited because of the “bounty” or goods, property, fairness, beauty, joy, and prosperity that comes from the LORD. He is the source. This is the best. It is appealing to the eye as well as the stomach. Listed in the verse are grapes, grains (barley and wheat are the primary crops in Israel), olives and its oil, and herds of healthy animals with offspring.

…and their life will be like a watered garden…The Hebrew word for “garden” is the same word used for the “Garden of Eden”. That garden in Genesis was created in perfection by God. The grammar talks about a water saturated garden. This place is not struggling for hydration like the desert that is Israel today.

Trend Update: Sabbatical/Shemitah Year/Record Harvest, October 2014

Leviticus 25:20-22 ‘But if you say, “What are we going to eat on the seventh year if we do not sow or gather in our crops?” then I will so order My blessing for you in the sixth year that it will bring forth the crop for three years. ‘When you are sowing the eighth year, you can still eat old things from the crop, eating the old until the ninth year when its crop comes in.

If we cannot work the fields, how are we expected to eat and survive? God says He will abundantly provide with bumper crops in the year before the land’s Sabbatical rest, three times the usual amount.

This past year ending Elul 29 on a Hebrew calendar (September 23, 2014 on a Gregorian calendar) was the greatest year of global harvest and agricultural production ever. Look at the examples below.

There were record crops in North America and South America.

http://online.wsj.com/articles/grain-soybean-futures-fall-as-usda-ramps-up-crop-projections-1410454858

http://www.agweb.com/blog/Farmland_Forecast_148/

Ukraine is known as the bread basket of Europe. There were record crops in Europe, specifically Ukraine. Any coincidence Russia is interested in controlling and annexing this country? Ukraine also has a sea port that allows their grains to be easily exported.

http://agronomyukraine.blogspot.com/2014/08/ukraine-set-to-harvest-record-winter.html

There were record crops in Australia in the Spring of 2014.

http://www.abc.net.au/news/2014-02-11/record-winter-crop-for-wa/5251438

The last year’s global harvest was the largest on record.

The issue is this. Is this current Jewish year starting Tishri 1 a Sabbatical/Shemitah year on God’s calendar? God is still marking time. The Israeli government and Temple Mount Institute believe so and have made economic provision accordingly for farmers to allow the land to rest.

http://www.israeltoday.co.il/NewsItem/tabid/178/nid/24661/Default.aspx?archive=article_title

http://www.wnd.com/2014/06/israel-rediscovers-shemitah-in-time-for-blood-moons/

Are we on God’s calendar and schedule when it comes to a Sabbatical/Shemitah year? If the current year beginning Tishri 1 (September 25, 2014, Gregorian Calendar) is a Sabbatical year of rest for the land, then the previous year should be a bumper crop per Leviticus 25:20-22. Global agricultural data from last year is supportive of this current Jewish year being a Sabbatical/Shemitah year.

Is this past year’s record crop an isolated or random incident of global agricultural production? If God is in control, we should be able to subtract by seven year increments and identify a pattern. Big crops should be expected in 2007, 2000, 1993, 1986, etc. The following data is provided primarily by the United Nations (UN). Other sources include USDA, US Bureau of Census, and New York Times. These sources are hardly God or Bible friendly. The previous largest record for agricultural production was in 2007! Another peak year of grain production and harvest was 1986! http://www.worldwatch.org/node/5539

If the pattern holds as expected, agricultural production has peaked in the short term. Food supplies are going to tighten. The population of the planet continues to increase. Governments are printing money to solve economic problems. This does not account for any “Black Swan” event(s). The cost of food is going up.
