Bad move in this hour. The Lord’s hand is in motion and I think the Labor Government in Canberra just signed it’s own job termination letter with this. Former PM Morrison’s folks had better be looking at getting the band back together. Do I write this because Yair Lapid is a wonderful and favored by God? That formulation would be simplistic and more bluntly, silly. I am not going to pronounce on Mr. Lapid’s faith (because I do not know his heart), but by Mr. Lapid’s fruit, Matthew 7:20 for the rest.
The government in Canberra, took the decision under PM Morrison to move the nation of Australia, closer to God’s design and agreement. Which means honoring the covenants God has formed. In the case of recognizing Jerusalem as the eternal capital, it was an affirmation of something plainly evident. It was making right an historical fact, that is apart from the covenantal imperative (the central issue).
Under the dispensation of grace, God will not want the people of Australia to suffer for the decision of it’s leadership especially in the urgency of this hour. Though we ARE in the dispensation of Grace, the dispensation of the law still applies in the conduct of mankind overall.
This period of history is one of an interim judgement.
To make an entire people accountable for the errant decision of it’s leadership, I cannot see the Lord permitting that for very long. The grace that the rest of us are extended (when we make a wicked or bad call) will be given to the Australian leadership. But how long it will remain extended is known strictly to Him.

Everyone is always amazed at how quickly the Stock Market can drop! The Stock Market declined 1300 points in 7 days! Oct 3, the Dow recorded a nominal new high; in a video, I suggested that would be an outstanding time to take profits. The adage “you cannot go broke taking a profit” certainly applies. More than profits, take at least half out of Harm’s Way and reduce Risk and Exposure. Back in February, when the Stock Market dropped 3000 points in just a few weeks and then stabilized, many analysis suggested the Market would recover to record a new high.
Indeed, there was a gap on the S&P near 2830 which further suggested a return to the old highs.
The market did recover and did make a nominal new high; perhaps a “Double Top? Only for a day! After 1300 points, the question now is will the Stock Market recover and again make another nominal new high or is the Top for this Cycle already achieved? The answer should not matter; as a baby Boomer, can we really take the chance? Can we assume the Risk?

There is Historic Margin debt financing the portfolios; leverage accentuates gains and creates tremendous profits in a Rising Market.
A Declining Market creates “Air Pocket” plunges as margin Calls produce stock liquidations usually at precarious moments accelerating the downside. At 65, 69, or 72 years of age and beyond, there is no time to recover losses. There is no “Long Run” left! Should a portfolio experience a 39.6% decline which represents the losses incurred in a typical cycle completion, how would your Life be affected? The market may be Vulnerable, are YOU?
There are times to be Aggressive; now is not one of them. Consider reducing exposure to Risk and increasing the Cash Flow component of your Wealth Portfolio. Risk cannot be totally eliminated, but can be drastically reduced. The recognition of change is a great advantage; there will be another Bull Market, it will just change asset classes. Consider accumulating very conservative rental properties in the entry level price range. Typically, there are very good opportunities close to everyone’s home. There are several strong growth markets across America that may provide conservative, consistent, cash flow for many years that may prove to be a “Lifeboat” for your Family and your Future.

Russia has an impressive military with Nuclear Weapons, but when it comes to Economic prowess, it is an Emerging Market! It has been only 20 years since Russia collapsed financially and it is still working through the economic disruption. Although blessed with huge Natural Resources, Russia is still very dependent on Foreign Capital to develop it’s mining, gas and oil fields. Foreign Capital is needed not only for developing the resources themselves, but the infrastructure to bring them to market. Global Markets dictate much of Russia’s income as the price of basic materials fluctuate with the Business Cycle. As one of the World’s leading oil producers, Russia has benefited from the recent run up in Oil prices which are expressed in US Dollars. Basic Materials are also expressed in US Dollars, but are very sensitive to demand dynamics; much, much more sensitive. Dollar dependency is a two edged sword for although the demand for the energy component is less elastic, the price can fluctuate wildly. The price of Natural Resources can plummet as the Global Slowdown intensifies; as with any Emerging Market repayment of Foreign Loans becomes more and more difficult.
The BRICs were the darling of the Investment Community. Now Brazil and India are struggling. China financed much of it’s Capital needs with internal financing through it’s Shadow Banking and while these loans are certainly at risk, they are less visible. Russia has done much better than many Emerging Market Nations, but Russia is still affected by a rising US Dollar and rising Global Interest Rates. The balance of Trade impacts the International repayments. A Global Slowdown is underway and many Emerging Markets are at risk of depleting Dollar Reserves and thus entering a Liquidity Crisis. Which leads to Turkey!
Commodity prices will fall crushing the Emerging Markets which will cause Turmoil throughout the World. Debts will not be paid and alliances will be stretched if not completely broken.
Turkey, along with Argentina and Brazil, is rapidly running out of Dollar Reserves. Turkey imports much more than it exports and as it’s currency declines, purchasing power falls dramatically. Turkey needs Cash to not only finance Government offices, public utilities, and to service domestic needs, but any recent Military adventures such as last year’s excursion into Iraq and just recently Syria. Everything needs to be financed. The Credit lines from Western Nations and the US come with restrictions which the Turkish Government seems to be unwilling to accept. Turkey is now in overtures to Russia and China to provide US Dollars to solve it’s Liquidity demands. Currently, Turkey is involved in operations with Russia in Syria; an operation that benefits both Geo-politically, but is adverse to Turkish Allies objectives. This becomes a very interesting puzzle!
Russia and China can forestall Turkey’s liquidity crisis for awhile; a few months, maybe a year. However, both are still Emerging Markets themselves and a prolonged Global downturn will inevitably affect any extension of Credit.
A Global Downturn has been evident for months. Demand for natural Resources and eventually Energy will fall, slowly at first then much more rapidly. Commodity prices will fall crushing the Emerging Markets which will cause Turmoil throughout the World. Debts will not be paid and alliances will be stretched if not completely broken. There is still time to prepare; payoff debt, build reserves, store things like food, water, and medicine. As quickly as possible, build a personal cash reserve held outside of financial institutions and as important, build a Financial Lifeboat of Cash Flowing assets.
Remember, the reason for Russia’s future invasion of Israel is economic. Russia will seek to take Israel’s resources.

December 21, 2017: We are living the verse above in today’s world. The nations of the planet are throwing an absolute tantrum over Jerusalem, Israel.
The UN has stated Trump’s declaration is “null and void”.
Today the United Nations (UN) held an emergency vote over Donald Trump’s declaration of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. 128 countries voted and urged President Trump to take back the proclamation. 35 countries abstained from voting.
9 countries voted against the UN resolution and stood with Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. These countries included: Israel, United States, Guatemala, Honduras, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Palau, Togo, and Nauru.

US Ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley had the following comment after the vote.

“The United States will remember this day in which it was singled out for attack in this assembly. We will remember it when we are called upon to once again make the world’s largest contribution. That is what the American people want us to do and it is the right thing to do. This vote will make a difference in how Americans look at the UN. And this vote will be remembered.” -Nikki Haley, US Ambassador to the UN.
President Trump weighed in on the vote.
“We’re watching those votes. Let them vote against us, we’ll save a lot. We don’t care.” -President Trump.
Even the Sanhedrin held an emergency meeting in light of the UN vote. The Sanhedrin warned the nations their vote will seal their fate. Here is the declaration.

The declaration reads:
The nations should now take this opportunity to advance their required role in building God’s House in Jerusalem, the House of Universal Peace, on Mount Moriah, as prophesied in the Bible in order to bring about the long-awaited world peace.
Nations that vote for this evil decree via their representatives are instruments of destruction and their fate is sealed, as has been the case throughout history for those nations who have chosen the path of evil.
For the nations that have, until now, come against Jerusalem this vote is an opportunity to leave their evil ways. If not, they are sealing their own fate and will see judgments from heaven. The nations that support the US president’s declaration will gain merit in heaven.
We emphasize that this vote does not affect the prophecies concerning Jerusalem as the City of God since God’s word is eternal. It is Jerusalem’s fate to be a Light Unto the Nations.
A little recommendation for the nations of the world… We are not there yet. But God has some guidance if you choose to go against His people in His capital Jerusalem in His nation Israel.

The United Nations (UN) held an emergency meeting over President Trump and his declaration of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital. The UN has informed President Trump’s announcement has ruined the chance for peace in the Middle East.

“The United Nations has repeatedly declared that any unilateral decision that seeks to alter the character and status of Jerusalem or that may alter these long-standing principles could seriously undermine current peace efforts and may have repercussions across the region.” Nickolay Mladenov, UN special coordinator for the Middle East peace process.
“The status of Jerusalem cannot be unilaterally altered or determined by any state and this decision by the US should be reconsidered and rescinded. The extremely regrettable announcement … has heightened tensions and risks the complete destabilization of this volatile situation.” -Riyad Mansour, UN ambassador and permanent observer for Palestine.
Israel and the United States responded with a different tone and approach at the emergency meeting. The United States was represented by Nikki Haley, US Ambassador to the UN. Israel was represented by their Ambassador to the UN, Danny Danon.
“The United States has the courage and true understanding of justice to officially state what has always been known: that Jerusalem has and always will be the capital of Israel. The embassy of the United States belongs in Israel’s capital. We are grateful to the United States for its courageous decision. We call on all the nations of the world to join us this year in Jerusalem, the capital of the state of Israel.” -Danny Danon, Israeli Ambassador to the UN.
“Over many years the United Nations has outrageously been one of the world’s foremost centers of hostility towards Israel. The UN has done much more damage to the prospects of Middle East peace than to advance them. We remain committed to achieving a lasting peace agreement. We support a two-state solution if agreed to by the parties.” -Nikki Haley, US Ambassador to the UN.
Jordan who manages security for the holy sites in Jerusalem has stated nothing has changed.
“The kingdom believes that any unilateral decisions to build a new situation on the ground are null and void. The protection of Jerusalem and its holy places for all religions.” -Sima Bahous, Jordan UN representative
Egypt, the United Kingdom, France, Russia, Sweden, and Japan have made strong public statements condemning President Trump’s declaration. The Arab world is obviously up in arms.
The countries of the world are literally wringing their hands over Jerusalem.
The rest of the world does not see President Donald Trump to be a viable peace broker in the Middle East Peace Process. The world is scrambling for a person to take the lead on the issue. I will make the argument President Trump’s actions may be paving the way for the antichrist. Leadership will emerge. Do your own homework.

December 6, 2017: President Donald Trump has authorized Congressional legislation from 1995 to proclaim Jerusalem as the undivided capital of Israel. He also initiated plans to move the United States Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. President Trump has made it official.
“Jerusalem is the capital the Jewish people established in ancient times. Today Jerusalem is the seat of Israel’s government.” President Trump.
Jerusalem as the capital of Israel goes back 3,000 years to the time of King David. The city was captured from the Jebusites in 2 Samuel 5 by David.
In June of 2017, the United States Senate unanimously voted 90-0. The resolution urges the “president and all United States officials to abide by the 1995 Jerusalem Embassy Act.” The bill stated the following.
“Jerusalem should remain the undivided capital of Israel in which the rights of every ethnic and religious group are protected. There has been a continuous Jewish presence in Jerusalem for 3 millennia. Jerusalem is a holy city and the home for people of the Jewish, Muslim and Christian faiths.”
The Jerusalem Embassy Act of 1995 is a public law of the United States. The law was passed by the 104th Congress on October 23, 1995. The law states the United States Embassy in Israel should be moved from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. The law states Jerusalem is to be an undivided city. Jerusalem is recognized as the capital of Israel. This law was to be enacted by May 31, 1999.

Palestinian Leader Mahmoud Abbas contacted Russian President Vladimir Putin, Moroccan King Muhammed, Pope Francis, French President Emmanuel Macron, and Jordan’s King Abdullah to stop President Trump’s intentions.
The religion of peace has predictably responded with threats of war and violence. President Trump has been told there is no seat at the “peace table” if he moves forward as promised.
Abu Rudeinah, Palestinian adviser indicated, “…the gravity of the consequences for the peace process and security and stability in the region and world.”
“…totally destroys any chance that he can play a role as an honest broker,” Palestinian Nabil Shaath, Abbas adviser.
In honor of President Trump’s declaration, Hamas has declared 3 Days of Rage instead of the usual one day.
Jerusalem and the nation of Israel are expecting violence.
