Judea, Samaria, and the Jordan Valley are an inseparable part of the Land of Israel — the historic, cultural, and spiritual homeland of the Jewish people.

Centuries and millennia before the establishment of the modern State, the forefathers and prophets of the nation lived and acted in these regions. Here, the foundations of Jewish faith and culture were laid. Cities like Hebron, Shechem (Nablus), Shiloh, and Beit El are not merely historical sites — they are living expressions of the continuous Jewish presence in the Land.

Sovereignty in Judea and Samaria is an inseparable component of the fulfillment of Zionism and the national vision of the Jewish people’s return to its homeland.

The Shmini Atzeret Massacre of October 7, 2023, proved that the establishment of a Palestinian state poses an existential threat to Israel, its citizens, and the entire region.

In its decision of 12th of Tammuz 5784 (July 18, 2024), the Knesset declared its opposition to the establishment of a Palestinian state west of the Jordan River, affirming that such a state would endanger Israel and its citizens, perpetuate the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and destabilize the region. This resolution removed the idea of a Palestinian state from the national agenda.

Yours truly was on the end of a local flood in the Kansas City metro. We’ve had two rounds of flooding rains in the past week. 10.5 inches of rain occurred over night. Our basement took on a few inches of water. Lots of damage observed here locally. Fortunately, no injuries at our place, just a big mess to clean up. Ahhhh, the smell of bleach.

Red Heifer Update: Sacrificial Practice

Numbers 19:5-6 And the heifer shall be burned in his sight. Its skin, its flesh, and its blood, with its dung, shall be burned. And the priest shall take cedarwood and hyssop and scarlet yarn, and throw them into the fire burning the heifer.

In the drill, a red heifer that had been housed at Shiloh by the Boneh Israel organization was prepared and burned on a pyre of wood as preparation for the possibility of an actual ceremony in the future. The heifer was not suitable for the actual ceremony, as it had been inspected by the rabbis of the Temple Institute and judged to have non-red hairs, thereby disqualifying it. The heifer was burned on a pyre of wood precisely as specified in Jewish sources.

When the time comes, the official sacrifice will take place on the Mount of Olives.

As many Christians are acutely aware, animal sacrifices for sin are no longer required. However, these things are still prophesied. After all, the antichrist needs a Temple to defile.

To be clear, the red heifer is the symbol or type of things to come. Jesus Christ is the real deal, the fulfillment.

The innocent, shed blood of Jesus Christ on the cross is the fulfillment of forgiveness and the release from sin.

Hebrews 9:22 And according to the Law, one may almost say, all things are cleansed with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.

As the red heifer was and will be again sacrificed outside the city limits of Jerusalem, so was Jesus Christ. As the sacrifice of the red heifer is for the purification and consecration of the people of Israel, so was and is Jesus Christ.

Hebrews 13:12 Therefore Jesus also, that He might sanctify the people through His own blood, suffered outside the gate.

Christ’s sacrifice is not only for the people of Israel, but for all the people of the world. He is the sacrifice for all sin for all time.

This Week in Prophecy: Red Heifer, Euphrates River, Kerch Bridge & Uranium

Numbers 19:1-2 Then the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying, “This is the statute of the law which the Lord has commanded, saying, ‘Speak to the sons of Israel that they bring you an unblemished red heifer in which is no defect and on which a yoke has never been placed.

Red Heifer Update: Visitors are travelling to the ancient land of Samaria, specifically Shiloh, to visit a red heifer. This is in the heart of what the world calls the “Occupied West Bank”, a future Palestine.

The heifer is 22 month’s old. Within the month, two more red heifers are coming.

Per oral traditions as related by the Temple Institute, a heifer is at least 3 or 4 years old. So the earliest, said red heifer could be sacrificed would be 14 months from now. That roughly would give us a target of September 2024 for the earliest sacrifice. Rosh Hashanah 5785/2024 begins at sunset Wednesday, October 2nd.

Secular press outlets across the world are noting the drying of the Euphrates Rivers. Thankfully, we have these media sources to set the record straight. The God of the Bible is not the reason the river is drying. And Divine judgment and intervention are not the reasons.

This argument is based on the fact that the Euphrates River is mentioned in the Bible and the Quran as a symbol of fertility and abundance. The professor believes the causes are climate change, regional conflict, ISIS, dams and power plants, socio-economic and environmental issues.

Magog’s Rough Week

There has been a “major” accident at the world’s largest Uranium enrichment plant. The plant is located in Novouralsk, Russia. The Ural Electrochemical Combine is located east of the Ural Mountains.

Workers were evacuated from the plant. However, if you live in the area, the “accident” poses no threat to your health. Radioactive leakage has been denied. We are told the factory is working normally.

Another attack has occurred on the Crimean or Kerch Bridge. A section of the auto bridge has been destroyed. A Ukrainian drone attack is believed to be the cause.

It is suspected by Russia that the UK and the United States may have assisted with intelligence and possible equipment.

Isaiah 10:5-11 Assyrian Arrogance, Part 1

Isaiah 10:5-7 Woe to Assyria, the rod of My anger and the staff in whose hands is My indignation I send it against a godless nation and commission it against the people of My fury to capture booty and to seize plunder, and to trample them down like mud in the streets. Yet it does not so intend, nor does it plan so in its heart, but rather it is its purpose to destroy and to cut off many nations.

Assyria is described as a “shebet”. That is the Hebrew word for rod, staff, branch, shaft (of spear, dart), club (of shepherd’s implement), or a scepter (mark of authority) per Strong’s Concordance. In today’s vernacular, a whoopin’ stick!

Assyria is the beating stick in God’s hand. He is in control of Assyria. God is going to use Assyria as a stick to punish His godless people. Their job is to pack them down like mud in the street.

Notice, it is the mental attitude that leads to its conquest for power and expansion. See the words “intend”, “plan…in its heart”, and “purpose”. These are mental words of thought. Assyria is calculating and devising from the inner part of their soul, mind, and conscience according to the language and Hebrew vocabulary.

The “stick” has other ideas. Israel is not enough. The “rod” wants more and history shows us how Assyria expanded. The Assyrians built an empire that stretched from Egypt on the southwest to Persia (modern day Iran) on the east and from the Persian Gulf on the southeast to Anatolia (modern day Turkey) on the north.

Isaiah 10:8-11 For it says, “Are not my princes all kings? Is not Calno like Carchemish, or Hamath like Arpad, or Samaria like Damascus? As my hand has reached to the kingdoms of the idols, whose graven images were greater than those of Jerusalem and Samaria, shall I not do to Jerusalem and her images just as I have done to Samaria and her idols?”

At this point, God reminds Assyrian leadership of his boastful and arrogant attitude. Calno, Carchemish, Hamath, Arpad, Samaria, and Damascus are city states that were conquered by the Assyrian Empire (NET Bible). Assyrian leadership is reminding God of their resume. They have handled these places in the past and they can handle Jerusalem.

“We have conquered powers greater than Israel and little Jerusalem,” Assyria. They are effectively telling God that He cannot stop Assyria. This is a shot at God’s sovereignty and power. Assyria has handled other countries and their “gods”. We can handle Jerusalem and their “god”. We, Assyria are in control. This is the mindset.

This also speaks to how Assyria saw Israel. They saw Israel as a nation who worshipped idols. They did not see Israel as a country who was worshipping God of the Bible.

Assyria did not ultimately realize they were going up against the Creator. God is in charge and Assyria is in the palm of God’s hand.

Isaiah 8:1-4 Isaiah’s Family and Prophetic Implications

Isaiah 8:1 Then the LORD said to me, “Take for yourself a large tablet and write on it in ordinary letters: Swift is the booty, speedy is the prey (Maher-Shalal-Hash-Baz).

Isaiah 8:2 “And I will take to Myself faithful witnesses for testimony, Uriah the priest and Zechariah the son of Jeberechiah.” 

God has witnesses to what he is saying. He chose Isaiah, Uriah, Zechariah. Look at the character of the men He chose to be witnesses. He selected a priest and two prophets (Isaiah included). All three are men of God.

Look at the names of the people and their meaning. According to Strong’s Concordance, Uriah means “Jehovah is my light (flame)”. Zechariah means “Jehovah remembers”. Jeberechiah means “Jehovah blesses”. We cannot forget Isaiah, his name means “Jehovah has saved”. Here is the message in the witnesses to God’s word. He saves, remembers, blesses, and illuminates.

God wants this written down and he wants human witnesses to His word.

Isaiah 8:3 So I approached the prophetess, and she conceived and gave birth to a son. Then the LORD said to me, “Name him Maher-shalal-hash-baz;

Yes, there is sex in the Bible. Isaiah had sexual relations with his wife and she became pregnant. God did tell Isaiah to give the child a specific name. He was married to an unnamed prophetess. Isaiah and his wife had two sons, Shear-jashub (meaning the remnant shall return, Isaiah 7:3) and Maher-shalal-hash-baz (meaning speed the spoil, hasten the prey). Jewish tradition notes that Isaiah may have been a relative to Jewish nobility, a nephew to King Amaziah. His cousin would have been King Uzziah in Chapter 6.

Isaiah 8:4 for before the boy knows how to cry out ‘My father’ or ‘My mother,’ the wealth of Damascus and the spoil of Samaria will be carried away before the king of Assyria.”

According to Ryrie Study Notes, the child was approximately two years old when Tiglath-Pileser III tore through Damascus and Samaria in 732 BC.

Isaiah7:3-9 Be Calm, God Knows

Isaiah 7:3-4 Then the LORD said to Isaiah, “Go out now to meet Ahaz, you and your son Shear-jashub, at the end of the conduit of the upper pool, on the highway to the fuller’s field, and say to him, ‘Take care and be calm, have no fear and do not be fainthearted because of these two stubs of smoldering firebrands, on account of the fierce anger of Rezin and Aram and the son of Remaliah.

God gives a direct command for Isaiah to take his son with him to meet King Ahaz. Imagine if you were Ahaz and you saw Isaiah and son headed your direction, especially when you take the meaning of their names into account. Isaiah means “Jehovah has saved”, and Shear-jashub means (a remnant will return) according to Strong’s Concordance. This should provide some comfort knowing “Jehovah has saved” and “a remnant will return” is coming your direction as messengers from God.

Isaiah repeats a simple message four times, do not be afraid. Yes, these two adversaries are really ticked but they are losing their fire and just smoking and smoldering. The log is about to burn out.

Isaiah 7:5-6 ‘Because Aram, with Ephraim and the son of Remaliah, has planned evil against you, saying, “Let us go up against Judah and terrorize it, and make for ourselves a breach in its walls and set up the son of Tabeel as king in the midst of it,”

God knows their plans and tells Ahaz. Essentially, God is saying “I know what these guys are up to”. They have plans of being king makers. This northern alliance is looking to replace an enemy with an ally. They look to put a friend in power for political gain. This would be a natural alliance to strengthen their foothold in the region. The idea seems reasonable. They want to put the son of “God is good” (Tabeel) in charge in the south.

They have battle plans in place. They are going to break down the wall in Jerusalem and invade. You can make all the plans you want, God may have other ideas for you.
