Resurrection Sunday, 2025; RFK Files Released; Turkey Weather; COVID Files Released

John 11:25-26 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?”

The White House and President Trump released a coherent statement on the Gospel of Jesus. Name the last President who has done this? Last year we had President Biden and a Transgender Day of Visibility.

This Holy Week, Melania and I join in prayer with Christians celebrating the crucifixion and resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ—the living Son of God who conquered death, freed us from sin, and unlocked the gates of Heaven for all of humanity.

Beginning with Christ’s triumphal entry into Jerusalem on Palm Sunday and culminating in the Paschal Triduum, which begins on Holy Thursday with the Mass of the Lord’s Supper, followed by Good Friday, and reaching its pinnacle in the Easter Vigil on Holy Saturday night. This week is a time of reflection for Christians to memorialize Jesus’ crucifixion—and to prepare their hearts, minds, and souls for His miraculous Resurrection from the dead.

During this sacred week, we acknowledge that the glory of Easter Sunday cannot come without the sacrifice Jesus Christ made on the cross.  In His final hours on Earth, Christ willingly endured excruciating pain, torture, and execution on the cross out of a deep and abiding love for all His creation.  Through His suffering, we have redemption.  Through His death, we are forgiven of our sins.  Through His Resurrection, we have hope of eternal life.  On Easter morning, the stone is rolled away, the tomb is empty, and light prevails over darkness—signaling that death does not have the final word.

This Holy Week, my Administration renews its promise to defend the Christian faith in our schools, military, workplaces, hospitals, and halls of government.  We will never waver in safeguarding the right to religious liberty, upholding the dignity of life, and protecting God in our public square.

As we focus on Christ’s redeeming sacrifice, we look to His love, humility, and obedience—even in life’s most difficult and uncertain moments.  This week, we pray for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon our beloved Nation.  We pray that America will remain a beacon of faith, hope, and freedom for the entire world, and we pray to achieve a future that reflects the truth, beauty, and goodness of Christ’s eternal kingdom in Heaven.

May God bless you and your family during this special time of year and may He continue to bless the United States of America.

This is Christ’s physical return to planet Earth. This is different than the resurrection/rapture event where He will draw His bride, the church, into the clouds to meet Him in the air.

Against the backdrop of Russo-American talks in Saudi Arabia and the emergency European security summit in Paris, France, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is visiting Turkey today to speak with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. According to a statement from President Zelensky, food, security, prisoner exchanges, and some bilateral educational and cultural initiatives are the topics for discussion. On the prisoner exchanges: Alongside the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Saudi Arabia, Turkey has played a key role in facilitating past prisoner exchanges and other Russo-Ukrainian wartime communications. However, given the aforementioned meetings and summits, peace negotiations will likely be on the docket for conversation as well.

The main points from Sergey Lavrov’s statements following the talks in Riyadh:

The conversation with the US representatives was very useful, the parties began to listen and hear each other;

Russia and the United States agreed to ensure the earliest possible appointment of ambassadors in Washington and Moscow;

The US will announce who will represent them on the issue of settlement in Ukraine, and the Russian Federation will immediately do the same;

Reuters reports that France plans to host a second emergency meeting tomorrow to discuss Ukraine and European security, but has this time invited European countries not present at the first meeting earlier this week and NATO ally Canada.

Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) rose six places to number 35 in the latest World Watch List. Last year, 355 were killed for their faith, compared with 261 the previous year, whilst an estimated 10,000 were internally displaced, which is ten times more than 2023. Houses have been looted and burnt, schools relocated, churches and health facilities closed, and several Christian villages have been abandoned altogether.

President Elect Donald Trump has weighed in on the events taking place in Syria.

Opposition fighters in Syria, in an unprecedented move, have totally taken over numerous cities, in a highly coordinated offensive, and are now on the outskirts of Damascus, obviously preparing to make a very big move toward taking out Assad. Russia, because they are so tied up in Ukraine, and with the loss there of over 600,000 soldiers, seems incapable of stopping this literal march through Syria, a country they have protected for years. This is where former President Obama refused to honor his commitment of protecting the RED LINE IN THE SAND, and all hell broke out, with Russia stepping in. But now they are, like possibly Assad himself, being forced out, and it may actually be the best thing that can happen to them. There was never much of a benefit in Syria for Russia, other than to make Obama look really stupid. Leviticus 23:33-36 Again the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, “Speak to the sons of Israel, saying, ‘On the fifteenth of this seventh month is the Feast of Booths for seven days to the LORD. On the first day is a holy convocation; you shall do no laborious work of any kind. For seven days you shall present an offering by fire to the LORD. On the eighth day you shall have a holy convocation and present an offering by fire to the LORD; it is an assembly. You shall do no laborious work.’”

Sukkot is coming to an end this week at sunset on Wednesday, October 23, 2024. This holiday is known by many names. It is called the Feast of Tabernacles, Sukkot, the Feast of Booths, the Festival of Tents, or the Feast of the Harvest because it is after the harvest in the fall. Simply put, it is also called “the feast” or “the festival”.

It has been a busy week around the globe during the Feast of Tabernacles. Here’s what is happening.

The context of Ezekiel 7 is judgment on the land of Israel. Judgment is being rendered against violence or “hamas“.

Putin keeps trolling US Democratic Party, “endorses” Kamala Harris for POTUS: “I once said that if we can name a favorite candidate, it would be Joe Biden, but now he’s not participating in the election campaign. He recommended supporting [Kamala] Harris. So, that is what we are going to do… Her laugh is so fascinating. It means that everything is good,” Vladimir Putin at the plenary session of the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF).

Russia will hold the BRICS Summit in Kazan from October 22 to 24, 2024.

During its BRICS presidency this year, Russia has said it will focus on “promoting the entire range of partnership and cooperation within the framework of the association on three key tracks – politics and security, the economy and finance, and cultural and humanitarian ties.”

Nile River

Isaiah 19:5-7 And the waters of the sea will be dried up, and the river will be dry and parched, and its canals will become foul, and the branches of Egypt’s Nile will diminish and dry up, reeds and rushes will rot away. There will be bare places by the Nile, on the brink of the Nile, and all that is sown by the Nile will be parched, will be driven away, and will be no more.

There are multiple places in the Bible that says the Nile River will dry. Isaiah is not the only place. See what Zechariah and Ezekiel have to say.

Zechariah’s comments are interesting. The prophet states God will strike the waves in the sea to bring this about.

Zechariah 10:11b …And He will strike the waves in the sea, so that all the depths of the Nile will dry up…

Ezekiel 30:12 And I will dry up the Nile and will sell the land into the hand of evildoers; I will bring desolation upon the land and everything in it, by the hand of foreigners; I am the LORD; I have spoken.

Ezekiel 7:11 Violence (Hebrew word is Hamas) has grown up into a rod of wickedness. None of them shall remain, nor their abundance, nor their wealth; neither shall there be preeminence among them.

Hamas says they have agreed to a cease fire brokered by Egypt and Qatar. Israel says the terms of the plan were not reached. Israel is moving ahead with their military plans in Rafah.

“In the terrible Holocaust, there were great world leaders who stood by idly; therefore, the first lesson of the Holocaust is: If we do not defend ourselves, nobody will defend us. And if we need to stand alone, we will stand alone,” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

The Bible tells us, ultimately, Israel will be alone and no country will come to their defense.

And there is no comment out of the Biden Administration…

  3. 13 million + texts.
  4. 15 million + pre recorded messages.
  5. Notification of areas to leave and where to go.
  6. Drones with speakers.
  7. Notified daily pauses of operations.
